^ I understand the feeling and I feel some of the same things of course. It’s wildly disappointing and he disrespected the club dragging it out like this. But I also can see in a few years if he leaks shit and gives interviews showing he is contrite (real or not) and is ready to make up for this and fulfill his dream, that the club keep the channels of communication open. Just seems in sports, especially with the players at the top of the game, anything can happen.

This, this, 100% this. It is the insult to the injury, the salt to the wound. He could have shown the club and it's president some respect and given us an answer so we could making plans accordingly. The whole thing has bad faith and maleficence written all over it. If he loves Real Madrid like he says he does, his actions are far removed from his words.

I recall from last summer, we were taking Mbappe's side when he said he had made clear to PSG that he wanted to leave well in advance. He "supposedly" respected them enough to give them an early enough warning so they could get paid for him and plan accordingly. That whole thing is now reeking of bullshit because he basically did the same thing to Real Madrid.

He ensured Real Madrid misses out on the best replacement possible for him so that he could setup a "Messiah" situation a season or two from now, hoping Real Madrid is still waiting around with their thumbs up their asses waiting for him to rescue the team. Fnck that shit.

I hope our team comes out of this stronger and wiser. I hope they never trust him again.

Zidane is a Madridista and Marsaille fan through and through. He loves our club too much to do that to us. I'm glad to see there are still some things in the world of football that Qatari money can't corrupt.

It's not even due to Madrid, i mean Zizou from Marseille. it would be just smth similar to betrayal if he would coach PSG.

Apart from a few outliers that’s actually quite correlated.

If he snubs them he is even more of a Madrid legend. And for me only di Stefano is higher.

It’s interesting though looking at our perspective, I guess when the players say if you commit to coming to Madrid theMadrid or rather Perez commits to brining you in no matter what. Explains a bit of some of our deals and how it shook out like the Bale deal for example.

It’s a commendable trait although perhaps to a fault but I can’t fault Perez for it, I would want to go to the team that does the most to get me.

Yeah but the fans are emotional. He really burned the fans of the Bernabeu and if he comes back to it we will whistle the shit out of him.

    That love story is done.

He will most likely play for barca once Laporta gets bored and some idiot replaces him and pays him and his family insane amounts to force them back to bankruptcy.

However Madrid? Nah. What he did left a scar. He sold everyone on him coming then didn't and couldn't even man up to it... he sent a text message lol!

I couldn't even bare to break up with an ex over text message. Zero respect for Madrid or the gentleman Florentino.

Idk who’s worse, PSG or Mbappe. PSG made themselves look like a desperate old man who lost their GF. Despite the gf telling him she wants to leave him, they desperately threw everything at the bitch (Mbappe), all the money they can afford so she stays with him.. lol. Even tho she made it clear she wants to leave, ultimately she accepts his ugly ass cuz of the money.

This checks out if you think he really 100% wanted to leave this whole time.

This would help us a lot, that’s two out of their three starting mids potentially. Fabinho hasn’t played in a while as well, so even if he plays he won’t be fit properly that’s for sure.

I'm confident we'll win the match.

They like the rest of the teams we faced this year will gegen press us into exhaustion and we'll capitalize.

This would be great news for us. Thiago gone is big. Fabinho struggle for fitness even if he plays gives us an advantage if KCM+V can hold out long enough for us to sub on Rodrygo and Camavinga.

I’m still puzzled that this game is being covered by the media as anything other than a total coin flip. We could lose 5-0. We could also win 5-0 lol.

More than likely, i expect so
Whether it happens or not this is what i believe too, i think he wilted under the enormous pressure now, as kind of reflected in Flo's response to him (if true of course) and he still believes he can make the move in 2 to 3 years, when the pressure (he thinks) on him won't be as much,

in the mean time........ why not get even more rich while he waits it out?, it probably won't work out that way but that's my speculation of what is going on with and around him, and the result being a 3 year contract rather than a much longer one, again, all speculation of course, no facts

Out of principle I wouldn't go near the player ever again, but I won't be surprised if we're doing this all over in another 2-3 years. This a business and there's millions and millions in revenue at stake, you can never say never in this sport.

    F.O.C.

    Fear of being cucked.

He played both sides to perfection though. This is a very embarrassing ordeal for Florentino and Real Madrid. It would take a serious level of indignity for Real Madrid to go back and offer him a deal however long from now if the turtle decides he has enough Qatari riyals.

I can see him playing for Barca one day, because he's no Madridista.

Like I said earlier. He made sure his biggest rival, Haaland wouldn't end up at Real Madrid. He knows if we got option B, we would build around him and the door is permanently closed. He made sure to leave himself a chance that Real Madrid is still looking for that galactico and he can waltz in like nothing happen. It was done with the worst of intentions. The dude is scum. I can't see how Madridistas can ever respect him or cheer for him after all this.

Maybe the turtle will come out and say they kidnapped his family and held them at gunpoint so we must forgive him.

I want Mbappe to be booed so hard at the Bernabeu that it will leave him traumatized for life.

He will have to use lots of dollar bills to dry those tears!!! Loser!

Emotions are high and people don't want to hear it right now but if in 3 years time Mbappe is the best goal scorer in the world, factored in with his marketability and willing to fit the club's wage structure, I can see the club circling back. Again, it's not what I would do but business is business, it is what it is.
