LB? With Rudiger coming, Alaba and Mendy is enough. Maybe Fran Garcia also be back.
RB - for me after Mbappe saga we should go all power on Reece James.

Christopher Nkunku seems very interesting player. What do you think of him? What his position ?

I doubt that Chelsea will let Reece James go this summer After losing Rudiger.
Lucas Vasquez will rotate with Carvajal but maybe they will try Reece James next year.

I am not that hyped by Nkunku i am not convinced that he is Real Madrid's material. I would rather see Real bringing Gnabry.

    lol
That should always have been the case.
No Twitter wanna journalist, none of the sports news media, "friends" of a player, agents and so on.
The actual player tweeting "I'm joining" or the club officially confirming (which technically should be just about the same time), are the only things that confirm things.

If I thought that once mbappe signs we'll have a quiet summer, now I realize this is going to be the complete opposite, with 100s of rumors, 1000s of tweets and newspaper covers and what not.

As great as Haland can be, him going to City works in our favor. He wasn't going to bench or even rotate with Benz the way he would have liked. Letting him go to City to hone his skills and monitor his injuries while Benz is playing like a beast for these next few yrs works for us.

I think they pressured him heavily into accepting the new deal; remember how they told him how he could leave after the World Cup?

I think there's more to the story than what is being told.

Qatar-World cup. Damn, even Paris olympic games in 2024. I do believe quite many untold stories in this drama.

Why not? They'll just create a few more shell corporations to funnel "endorsement deals".

The problem is that people have short term memory. One of his idols is Lebron James. He snubbed Cleveland to go to Miami and they were burning his jerseys. The same fans welcomed him back with open arms and basically made him GM/Head Coach without so much as a complaint. He knows that most fans will still accept him in 2 years when he's done milking the Qataris and it makes me sick.

No Real Madrid fan should ever take his bullshit about "childhood dream" and "ambitions to learn new cultures" at face value again. He will never get the same respect again. He has used our club for personal gain twice. Allowing him to do that a third time would be shameless.

If he comes back in two years or three years, he can fnck off with his image rights demands and fall in line with the rest. Otherwise, the club should say a polite "No thank you. We have moved on" like they did with CR7 when he tried to come back from Juventus. Neymar's father tried to use us after moving to PSG and the club did a great job shutting that shit down.

My friend who watches a lot of Bundesliga says he's not high on Christopher Nkunku. He says he's not someone we should go all out for as he is basically another Luka Jovic type player who looks great in a small team but wouldn't adapt to Real Madrid's playstyle.

I agree with him. He has rarely been wrong about Bundesliga talent. He was dead right about David Alaba's fit to our team when he was joining us too.

He also says we should be paying attention to Jeremie Frimpong from Leverkusen if Reece James is unattainable for the RB position. He has recently picked up an ankle injury but that man's his price might be low enough to be a steal. He says Bellingham would be a great player to get as well for CM if we're thinking long term, but Dortmund likely won't part with him after losing Haaland.

The last time Real Madrid inquired about Frimpong, Leverkusen quoted them 20 Million Euros, which would be a bargain imo. Granted, last time they inquired was 6 months ago. Frimpong's ball recovery skills and last ditch tackling ability is actually very akin to Carvajal. His ability to hit his stride after a recovery to take off in full flight is actually very impressive. The guy has pace for days.

This is the approach all fans and not just this forum should take moving forward. The whole Mbappe saga felt like the closest you could get to a done deal without seeing an official communication and things still went left.

I think Pool won't pay 80 M while RM might be keen to close the deal soon after Mbappe disappointment.

@lequipe reports that PSG's priority to strengthen the midfield remains Tchouaméni. However, they suspect that Monaco is valuing him at €100 million, so the operation is very complicated for the Parisians.

    From the Liverpool-Real Madrid theme:

-The player, until now, wanted to go to Liverpool according to @lequipe.

-Real Madrid wants to undertake an important operation for the French international to forget the shipwreck with Mbappé.

I hope 100 ME is Ligue 1 tax for PSG and they sell to RM for 80 M. We can outbid Pool in terms of transfer fee and wages ti close this soon.

80 mil for a 22 year old defensive midfielder.... the ******** is going on with the market bruh

Tchoumeni might be worth it in the long run, I don't know as I haven't seen him play. But that amount is absolutely fking insane for a young DM.

Agree. That price tag is wild and I’m having a hard time believing Flo would even approach anything close to that. We’ll see.

Tchouameni fee will also have an impact on how much Milan/RB will value Leao/Nkunku as well.

Thank the oil state clubs for ruining the transfer market; it all started with the Neymar transfer. PS-Shit have been throwing away money left and right at average players ever since; including ManCity [100M on Grealish].

Tchouameni is already an every window starter for the French national team. I think his ceiling is totally world class. He’s got it all. A high work rate dm with the technical ability to evade the high press and the vision and passing ability to create from deep.
