I think you are talking about Gnabry. He's been gotten chubby in recent years and Bayern fans say there has been a clear decline after his brilliant 2019-20 season. Won't be surprised if he starts looking like Isco in couple more years especially with a mega renewal coming at Bayern or elsewhere this summer.

Gnabry is a safer bet than Nkunku.
Already established himself in a big club among several World class players and performed in the biggest matchs.
Can play everywhere upfront.
And he played already with Kroos, Rudiger and Alaba.

 

Gnabry and Chiesa on the right are good options although I think only Gnabry is attainable given his contract situation.

 

I disagree with the opinion that if went all-out for Haaland, he would've rejected us. But I do think that Benz still being the best striker in the world would've impacted his decision.

Just because Mbappe was financially out of our reach, that doesn't mean Haaland would have been if you look at the numbers.
