Not starter material but Jonathan David could be a low key buy. Can play anywhere across the front 3.

You've not watched him play once if you actually believe this garbage.

I’ve seen one RBL match this season, I don’t remember much of what Nkunku did. I’m basing this on various highlight videos I’ve seen.

How many matches did you see?

So why speak so definitively if you only seen them play once?

I like the power and directness Nkunku plays with but for me there’s not enough of a sample size. He also isn’t a natural striker and there’s less space to work with in La Liga.

A natural RW worth breaking the bank for would be Chiesa, that guy is devastating on the win. I think he’s under contract with Juve until 2025 though.

Zidane is welcome at any time. I couldn't give a shit what he does. He has given everything to this club.
I really like Leao, he would absolutely succeed, I'm just not sure if he can play on the right and I wouldn't bring him here to sit behind Vini.

No thanks to Nunez. I don't see why we should go for Leao when we have Vinicius and Rodrygo.

Nkuku intrigues me because he can play centrally very effectively with impeccable finishing (lob, string shot, headers, etc).

Le Persian has now reported that both FdJ and Tchouameni both DREAM of playing with Mbappe. I didn't know players dream of playing with a 23 year old that hasn't achieved anything in a farmer league?

Asensio is probably staying now too, which is unfortunate.

There are people that support the club instead of simply being around to attach themselves to something great when it's easy to do so.

Nunez would be a total bust here. I would see if I can shake Bernardo Silva loose, and then sign a young and cheap with a high ceiling ST like Moukoko.

if 95% of his goals come from running behind the CB, and all of his highlight passing is squaring in the ball in transition from said runs. If when he’s either assisting or scoring it’s from one type of movement, I am not sure that would translate to La Liga. We have the same exact complaints that Jovic is a cone up top waiting for service.

He’s 25, in his first breakout season his scores for the last 3 are 5, 7, and now 35 goals across all competitions.

I’m taking all of this into consideration and saying, no thanks at any price. We don’t need more players like this and it’s a panic buy if I ever saw one.

If someone comes on here, maybe 4x4, who really knows German football to break down his game and give their option I could be swayed, but as of now I don’t think he’s what we need.

Some of their Europa league games, some champions league ( including two against a tough opponent in City) as well as some Bundesliga ones. I also watched him play for France.
Saying Nkunku isn't skilled or can't pass is like saying that Vini isn't fast, it's beyond ridiculous.
That's not say he would be a guaranteed success for us of course, we've had much more established players flop when they've made the step up to Madrid but your post was simply nonsensical.

We might also be able to get Leroy Sane on the cheap but the reason for that is his form has been atrocious with Bayern.

I saw someone who follows German football say that he's been RB's player from 2019-20 onwards and was the main reason Werner scored a lot of goals that year. He had 15 assists in Bundesliga that season. So it's not like he had a breakout season at 24. He's been amongst the best in Germany for 3 seasons now. This season he started playing in a free role upfront.

Nkuku has a contract to 2024 and his current value is at its peak. I'm very very careful. The eye test is more important than the numbers is Germany.

I'm not a fan. Not that I'm against it, but that's not a player that moves the needle for me.

Guess ACL injury had a bad impact on his career.

Being among the best in Germany is barely a sign of absolute quality though is it? I can count down an endless list of strikers, we can start with Szalai who wasn't even a real hit at Castilla and has established himself as a reliable player in Germany.

Which is why I'd look elsewhere than handing the German version of PSG over 70 mil. for Nkuku.

He was probably the best winger in the world alongside Vini in the first half of the season, had 22 G/A at that point but since the turn of the year his form dropped considerably, could be due to a lot of things, for one Nagelsmann tried to play him through the middle in order to fit in Kingsley Coman and Gnabry, don’t think that helped.

Yea I wouldn’t spend big on him.
