Flash in the pan, one good season is what I’m comparing to Jovic. I know they are not the same players. I’m just looking at a 25 year old who had his first breakout season and looking at his goal highlights, every one of his goals came from a pass behind the CB and he beats them for pace. Saw no real technical quality and passing. So yeah. Not interested

30, 29, and 31, doesn't really fit Flo's recent M.O. The one time he departed from that in recent years was the worst signing he's ever made (and even Hazard was younger than them at 28), doubt he'll repeat unless no other option.

 

Both only have 12 months remaining. I can’t see a massive transfer considering they’re both 30. I’m not saying this would be my move, but I think we’re going to push for Salah, just a feeling.

Both are very important for Pool. It's like Chelsea - Hazard situation and we paid a lot. I think we will stay away due to the same reason though. We wouldn't want to pay a PL premium fee again for players of that age group.

I think Bayern might sell Gnabry for 60-70 ME if they can't reach an agreement on wages. He didn't make much sense for us if Mbappe was coming, but now it's an option worth considering. Unlike Lewa, he's not irreplicable for them. Losing a young player for free hurts more than losing Lewa at 34 next summer after he scores 50 more goals next season.

 

Gnabry and/or Anthony makes more sense than Mahrez, Salah or Mane. And Perez will go all out on Tchouaméni.

To put a positive spin, Real madrid must be fired up for Liverpool.

Pep rotates Mahrez in PL due to the number of options he has. My hope is Mahrez is unhappy with that like Sane and Ferran were. City can't quote Salah/Hazard fee when they bench him for half the PL games.

 

Mahrez started 11 CL games, but has played less minutes than both Rodrygo and Asensio in league. Can't imagine him being happy in such situation and his contract runs out in 2023. Think City will be open to selling for 40 ME odd if Sterling renews.
