If I'm Perez I'm much more confident in signing youth, to your point it's working.

What do u think about Anthony from Ajax to our right wing? Very skill full player. Maybe we can change Rodrygo as free role like Raul and play with him and Benz on the attack.
    Cortuois
    Carvajal - Militao - Rudiger - Alaba
    Tchumeni - Camavinga
    Antony - Vini
    Rodrygo
    Benzema

Couple more things, I do hope this report about him wanting Neymar shipped out is true and that Neymar throws a fit and refuses. Cue the drama.

Zidane cannot go to PSG, would be too hard to stomach. Don’t do it Zizou. Already a bummer enough seeing Ramos there.

Still like Nkunku like Benny mentioned. Get a talented mid, and two quality attackers.

Complete aside, I may make a run at Lewandowki at this point. Benzema is versatile enough to play on the left too. So rotation wouldn't be difficult, especially since both Benzma and Lewandoski are approaching their mid-30s.

Plus, I wouldn't mind messing with Barca.

NO to Lewandovski...i see rumours that we are going after him.We already have the best number 9,what we need is a world class right winger and a great back up striker .

Mahrez/Salah for the right wing and i dont know who for the striker position but no Lewandovski

Yeah I don’t see anyone picking up those wages, he ain’t going anywhere and neither is Messi or anyone else on a big contract.

Edit - I like Nkunku, he is good at linking up and creating as well as finishing.

we can't really believe reports anymore ;)
I would also argue that nobody from PSG, including mbappe, will come out and publicly say that "Mbappe can help chose the next coach and next players to sign". I'm not saying I don't believe this rumor because PSG are desperate, but I doubt they will admit it.
in any case, Neymar, and I don't an open line to him, seems like a guy at this point that like to train easy/lazy, party hard and gets a fat check at the end of the year. Prime candidate for another oil based club like Newcastle.

I haven't watched enough of Antony to really gage him. He has been great when have seen him play for Brazil, and occassionaly for Ajax. There are games where he does look spectacular.

The fact that Rodrygo is not an out an out right winger and can move around the attacking three could make this feasible. Given their ages, it would be hard if they were going head to head constantly for the same position.

    A couple of factors.

    1. Gen Z and kids under 22/23 are a different breed. They don’t think about how their actions now may hurt them in the future. Mbappe is an example of how he’s been enabled his whole life and his parents are acting in their own interests and influencing him. Mbappe wants his cake and eat it too. Be paid an obscene amount of money, and he’s got the hubris to think he can build a club (long lasting legacy) that’s the Gen Z.

    2. More and more players will run down their contracts. This is the future. Flo has done well with that approach. Alaba and Rudiger are good examples. We missed in Mbappe, not ideal when we built our attack plans around him but we can salvage it for two years hoping we can make a move for Haaland.

    3. players will still want to play for RM. Most of the time when we go hard, we get the player. Mbappe is the exception, not the rule. I still think if we go all out we can get a lot of players. Trust me, if we went after Salah with the right contract he’d be kissing the badge in no time.

The fact that Salah still hasn't signed is an eye opener to me. He is in play, and now with Mbappe out of the picture...well it seems possible. He has limited leverage before because where was he going to go?

Edit: after the Hazard fiasco though....does Real Madrid want to give an aging Salah a ridiculous contract or get a player like Antony which is less likely to backfire?

Yeah. That’s Flo’s fault, not his. Getting clowned like this is not a good look. It’s malpractice on our part to let the player drag it out this long when there was a viable alternative who was probably willing to come, and when we could’ve asked Mbappe to put pen to paper as far back as January.

Also everyone made fun of PSG leadership but they totally outmaneuvered Flo. If there was a viable alternative I’d argue for his resignation, but there really isn’t at this time.

Mbappe, whatever, go get your money dude. But the club failed at negotiation 101 IMO. They dropped the ball big time.

Levandovsky wants to leave Bayern and close to Barca but they cannot afford him… why won’t us getting him for 2 years ? He worth 30-40 goals per year proven

The only reason I am considering him is because he will come cheap, and provide high level insurance for a couple years. The likelihood of both him and Benz breaking down at exactly the same time is unlikely. It also means you extend his and Benzema's career by limiting their minutes.

If every game, I can choose 2 of Vini/Benz/Lewa..and bring one of them off the bench in the 75th minutes... I am laughing.

They announced that they reached agreement with BVB.
Your can sign him now but he can’t move until he’s 18. We should close the signing this summer once he goes pro.

He wanted Madrid, but Madrid wanted Mbappe. So he settled for Barca.
Bayern will sell him for a proper proposal

You cannot sign him now. Only after he will be 18. He just signed his first professional contract. The law forbid you sign him until his 18.

You can sign him as we did with Vincius when he was 16 but you only own his rights and are allowed to bring him over when he turns 18.

I really never thought Mbappe would disrespect us like this. If he ever had an ounce of sentimentality towards this club, this would be the worst way to go about it. If you were going to renew, do it months ago, not on the cusp of a champions league final as a massive distraction. I never thought we would be duped and led on this long in a transfer saga.

We should stay calm in the transfer market. A lot of clubs with second tier players to sell are licking their lips expecting a phone call. This summer we should stay tranquil. Buy Tchouameni who was already in the plans and we’ve done the ground work on.

Look for an opportunistic deal or a deadline day deal to reinforce full backs. Some people have mentioned Mahrez. We are lucky Vinicius broke out and rodrygo is trending upwards. If Benzema stays fit next season we will compete for everything.
