How I wished a certain expensive transfer flop realizes how much of a burden he is to the club and hands in a transfer request.

Kroos has always seemed like the ultimate professional. Salute to him.

Jupp Heynckes said some years ago that Kroos will not play deeply into his 30s. I actually would not really be surprised when he retires after next season.

I don't think we have. He's probably saying he sees himself playing at RM for one more year. RM will offer year by year extension like with Modric so it'd depend on how Kroos performs next season. We are likely getting a 80 M midfielder as well.

No! I love him, but just like legends before him; Sergio Ramos, CR7, Raul, etc. His time is up.

His current deal runs through 2023. So yeah, If he’s saying two more years, then we are extending him.
At that point we should ask for a rule modification to get an electric wheelchair for him to play as he’s got absolutely no legs left.

Kroos is trending on German twitter.

"I've won the CL often but i always wanted to have all my kids in the stadium and this time that was the case so i am very happy about that"

    - "Is that because considering the way the match unfolded, you guys winning wasn't a logical conclusion?"

"What does that mean? Winning the CL is never a logical conclusion, it's a final, anything can happen and we won, done"

    - "Yes but Real Madrid were under a lot of pressure for..."

"OK listen, you had 90 minutes to think of something and you're here asking me two shitty questions"

    - "Yes, but Liverpool, but but but but"

    *Kroos leaves*

    - "Oh, now he left"

*Kroos waves he doesn't want to speak any more off mic*

The coverage is so terrible on German television and people agree that it's absolutely insane that the probably best German player of his generation has to justify his success after winning the CL.

How in the hell is having Kroos around as another option if we can afford it a bad thing? It's not like he's Varane where physicality is the main ingredient to his style.

How do you guys rate his performance in the final?

I think he did more than ok organizing but too slow when defending.

Toni is a legend but he needs much more muscle beside him to work properly.

If we play him with 2 energetic mids like Camavinga and Fede he will look better and can contribute for another season or two albeit on reduced minutes which should also help him. If we play KCM together he will look bad. He needs someone to carry water besides him. Modric did it for years but he doesn’t have the legs to work for 2 players anymore.

You could say exactly the same thing about the other 2. I hope we never shoehorn Valverde to the RW ever again

I bashed Toni all season long. And then he comes and puts on a performance I never expected to see from him even in his prime. Truly sensational stuff from him yesterday. Thank you TK.

He did ok. But his weakness is exposing too much so yeah.. and he won't change so it's up the coach how he will use Kroos.

He is like Pirlo in the latter stages of his career but better. Actually Pirlo just began to get really good in Kroos's age. Some like these kind of players and what they contribute, some don't. Personally I don't expect him to start two more years but such experience and skill isn't easy to replace and with a 37 years old Modric the club seem to be hesitate to replace both at the same time. Younger legs will look more flashy but imo this approach to hold on to _some_ veteran players is the right choice.

Kroos is just a likable and relatable guy. I mean in all his years here the only mess up he has had was when he threw that entitled tantrum from being subbed. This doesn't mean he doesn't have faults and his incredible stature at the club isn't an issue for Ancelotti to manage (as is others).

Just to point out he has a fantastic character.

    Same with Alaba.

Hey maybe Gnabry isn't that bad an idea lol.

Patiently waiting for @4x4s to drop some saucy quotes from Kroos’ latest podcast.
