As a fan of US Soccer, I'd love for McKennie to remain with Juve but I think his market value in maybe England would be quite lucrative.

Management has gone out on a limb over the disrespect for Dybala.

They had better be right on him, or they could well have sown the seeds of dissent amongst the fan base.

    https://football-italia.net/dybala-took-centre-stage-despite-juventus-trying-to-ignore-him/

If they go out and try to sell DiMaria as a "replacement"...

Anyhoo, if the club really does want Pogba it would have been smart to at least offer a contract to his buddy. Maybe they both end up at PSG now?

McK should absolutely stay and I dont get why Juve doesn’t invest in the US market to grow their brand. The rare times they come they keep going to East coast where most Italians are. Instead of expanding beyond that to other states and come to west coast. Its time they realize Juve is a global brand, not just Italian. Gear your efforts towards other places and grow the brand.

with Chiellini hopefully coming to LAFC and Del Piero already here…3 Juve fan clubs in 3 major Cali cities. Use these opportunities to do something instead of selling dumb shit like $100 chairs on the website.

McK should be kept and keep making more efforts to grow the brand here

Between CR7's limitations and COVID, I think they would have been here the last few years like the years previously. Absolutely agree they should come out West, I think they played the Galaxy at Stubhub in like 2014 or something.

Where are the 3 fan clubs? I know of the one in LA, I saw they got to watch a match at Alex's restaurant.

LA club goes to Ale restaurant many times. The other ones are silicon valley in bay area, they were the first one and the guy who helped Juve and Barca make their app is the one who started it. then
Couple of years ago San Diego started one.

they came to LA in 2013 summer, we went to the game, it was great despite the loss. They stayed in the bay and only came to LA for half a day to play this game. It was a really short trip

Their is a Juve "cafe"/restaurant in San Jose called Cafe Calcio in the very small "little Italy" there.

Juve are not making Morata move permanent. I'm torn, he was playing really well off Vlahovic, but I get it, he's not worth what Atleti are asking and they aren't willing to discount.

With Kean being shit, Kaio Jorge being a non factor so far, we really need another striker. Not a good situation to be in considering all the holes we already need to fill.

Agree with all that, but if we want to make a leap to get back into we have to start bringing in more quality than Morata--though it will be difficult to do on a budget. It will be interesting to see how they navigate this one. Getting dead weight like Bernardeschi off the books helps make some money available to bring in talent.

    some more reports today...

Pogba deal could be concluded this weekend.

Jorginho deal is a no go, just rumors, Juve not interested.

Juve are renewed interest in Gabriel Jesus.

Juve is looking for a starting LB, they believe Alex Sandro will leave and Pellegrini doesn't convince them for the starting role.

Arsenal have resumed their pursuit of Arthur.

Morata and Juve could find a deal during the summer, Morata doesn't want to leave Italy, Atletico admits he's not in Simeone's plans and there's no real interest from other teams.

Multiple reports that Pogba has agreed terms, looks like he'll be the first signing the club make this summer.

    I'm skeptical.

If we had the midfield equivalents of Vidal and Marchisio in the squad, I'd be elated. But we don't. Locatelli and Zakaria are quality, but they're not going to provide the same kind of cover for Pogba that he enjoyed when he was last at Juve. And his time at Utd has demonstrated that he needs that kind of support in order to get the best out of him.

And even with two world-class b2b midfielders alongside him, consistency was still an issue. Although I'm hoping for the best, I have serious doubts that we can recreate the past considering the multitudinous problems we have with this squad.

EDIT: Also, thank f*ck Bernadeschi is gone.

I would have preferred SMS (and would still like to get him too), but Pogba is an upgrade over any of the MFs we have moved on and will move on this summer. So that has to be viewed as a positive.

Less sold on AdM as anything other than a one year stop gap, which if we had kept Dybala would not have been needed.

I am going to withhold judgment until we see the whole market, but it troubles me that we are building a team to Max's vision. And once again bringing in older free agent players to play major parts, which is not really "rebuilding" at all.

Lol at the Mbappe saga! He is staying at PSG now. Of course he would want to stay there, that’s the easiest league to play in. I’m sure PSG gave him a super max contract.

Maybe they will sign Dybala now. he actually might be a nice fit with Modric to feed him balls and Benz to play off of.

This obviously was a disappointing season. However, I think part of the reason is that Serie A has gotten better at the top in the last few years. All four of Inter, Milan, Juve, and Napoli should get to the knockout rounds of the Champions League next year and I expect the same from Lazio and Roma in the Europa League.
That being said, it is time to gut the squad. Injuries hurt us this season, but if everybody more or less stays healthy, we should build the squad around the following players:
    De Ligt
    Locatelli
    Pogba (assuming he comes)
    Chiesa
    Vlahovic
    Others who I would keep:
    Cuadrado
    McKennie
    Zakaria
    Rabiot
    Bonucci
    Danilo
    Szczesny
    Alex Sandro
    Perrin
    Pinsoglio
That leaves 10 spots up for grabs (assuming Morata leaves).
    Main deficiencies:
    1. We need another world class CB. Bonucci is 35.
    2. We need another good central midfielder (not including Pogba).
    3. We need another winger.
    4. We need another world class striker. Vlahovic is awesome but we need another one of him. Preferably someone with a different style who complements him.
We can fill out the rest of the squad with younger players.
