It's not even Mbappe man it's the media. Lol. I can't believe anything I've read today it's so retarded.

BREAKING NEWS: On Monday at the stroke of midnight, Mbappe will release two balloons, one filled with red and dark blue confetti, the other with white and gold. He will then load one chamber of a revolver, spin it, then alternate shooting at each balloon as they rise to the sky. Whichever balloon is struck with the lone bullet will reveal Mbappe's footballing career choice.

I've never been more confident of us signing Mbappe then I am today. The science fiction garbage being spewed by Mario and Marca just makes me insanely confident for whatever reason.

Not saying we are not getting him, but imagine what kind of a monumental failure it would be if he has a sudden change of heart and backs out of the deal. Its bordering impossible but it would be hilarious if it did happen. We've been chasing this guy for years and let Haaland slip away because we put all our efforts into Mbappe.

Just shows what generational player he is with the way we are going after him and the lenghts PSG is willing to go to keep him.

Seriously... I mean who didn't think they wouldn't attempt to go at the well one more time to drive traffic and clicks? It's so easy. Just make up anything, post and watch as people panic.

As I said before I wouldn't be surprised if this was Florentino trying to drum up attention to make this thing an even bigger deal. Flo loves these types of games.

Anyways, this thing has been over.

Right. That's the kind of stuff that would never make you chase after a player again. It's so disrespectful that I know it can't be true. It would kill any chance of him ever playing for us.

I personally don't think it's Florentino trying to drive up attention, the whole "He has an agreement, but it's not definitive agreement" rumor started in France and now the Spanish media is in on it. None of them know anything, they just assume or flat out make up shit like in Mario's case.

I don't disagree it'd suck not getting a talent of his caliber but we're in the UCL final and have just won La Liga. At the end of the day Kylian needs Real Madrid. Not the other way around.

For PSG's point of view, Mbappe's future is everything in their future and the absolute turning point in their entire history. Qatar's investments since 2011 are heading toward a completely epic failure with this single departure. What can they do after Mbappe's departure? Who can they buy as his replacement? Haaland is gone. Lewandowski is almost gone. And what can they do with a team of Messi, Neymar and Ramos?

Bernard Tapie, Roman A, Silvio Berlusconi and the Glazers all succeeded in the EC/CL. The verdict on Manchester City is still out. So this might go down as one of the worst investments in football's history.

This is pure comedy on how they are manufacturing outrage. Regardless, all will be forgiven once he kisses the badge.

I wonder after losing out on Haaland why we are not after Osimhen. Similar profile and quality, and would command smaller salary. Also more likely to accept being Benzema's understudy for another year or two. If I was Florentino I would look seriously at him, hes a beast.

As a hypothetical, if Mbappe stays at PSG what moves should we make this summer?

Tchouameni seems like a no brainer
Gotta get a better backup striker, even if it’s a loan. Get a vet willing to take less minutes for trophies
Solidify RB somehow, hopefully not with AO.

Napoli paid like 80 ME for him. If you know how their president works, no one will pay the kind of asking price he'd demand. Also he's been injury prone and not a prolific scorer or anything like that.

He's a generational player, but PSG failed to win CL in 5 years with him and prime Neymar. We won a CL and about to play another CL in the meantime. Some exits were comical like against Ole's Utd. I believe Mbappe is smart enough to know there's only more disappointment coming for PSG in CL with Neymar and Messi way past it.

Pretty much and get someone up front to compete with Rodrygo.

Looking at the Mbappe case logically:
    1. He turned down mega offers with blank cheques from PSG.
    2. They gave him tons of say in the team. What more can they offer him now?
    3. He tried to force a move last summer.
    4. He took his contact down to the last days.
    5. RM relented and offered him unprecedented wage structure.

All this means he should be signing here. Logic says so. Not to mention he said the decision was already made a few days ago. But what can trump logic? The heart. My fear is that it’s getting to the level of threats; his brother is at PSG and the rest of his family is in Paris. These people will go to any length. Let’s hope that’s not the case.

Now this, THIS is something i can BELIEVE!!

IMO, Kylian will not waste anymore of his years playing week in week out in the French league, that will not raise his profile to where i imagine he'd like it to be, lets see

I don’t understand why Real Madrid, the club, would be nervous. If Mbappe choses to stay in PSG after all the years of efforts from Real Madrid to sign him, then we move on, forever.

He is a fantastic player, but we won a lot with players who wanted to be here, and we will continue to win a lot with those who want to be here and fight for the club.

This! Logically I would say it's a done deal; but deep down I have this fear that they are pulling all the stops like calling the president, prime minister, UEFA, Qatari Emir, etc. all to get him to stay.

Kind of like a toxic relationship where the girl keeps going back to her abusive boyfriend, but I hope he's smarter than that.

PSG will play their last league match tomorrow, and the season will be officially over. Mbappe said he would give his answer before leaving for the national team at the end of this month. That means between May 22nd and May 30th, we should have an answer.

At this point, most of us will be relieved that this saga will be over one way or another. It'll be hella lame (if not utter nonsense) if he stays at PSG because we passed up on Haaland for him, but we took the gamble for the more complete player. No use crying over spoiled milk now.

Something tells me a lot of you guys don't have the guts to just sit through something. You want all the answers delivering here and now.

Let's conclude the season and see what happens.
