Well, Frenkie can lay a claim of 17 million on the transfersum, as deferred payment of salary still is a debt of Barca. No transfer is changing that, unless in the transfer agreement ManUnited takes that claim of the back of Barca.

Why would he take a pay cut? He has the contract and Barca has the problem. He stays and he gets his money. If Barca doesnot pay, he's transfer free and then he can put the transfer money as a sign hand out in the bank. Just think about it. Barca owes him 17 million. They want about 70 million for him. If they donot pay him his money he can as a free agent tell the big clubs, pay me 35 million of the transfer fee to sign a contract and save 35 million. Barca is the one cornered, not Frenkie.
