Another injury prone player coming off 3 terrible seasons. Hopefully the change of scenery does him good and he can be back to his old self, but the numbers being offered are just insane tbh.

Pogba adds nothing to the team and is not the type of MF Juve need. He will suck a lot of €s out of the finances as he will demand a high salary. Money can be better spent somewhere else.

Lazio have opened the door for us to do a deal involving SMS and Fagioli going to lazio

I would prefer SMS but either is an upgrade over our current MF.

Hate to give up on the kid Fagioli though.

The team needs to let all the older players go and just rebuild under Zidane. Vlahovic is struggling and will keep struggling under Allegri.

Agreed. No only we have Ramsey back next season, but lets pay another injury-riddled player. This club never learns. Stuck in mediocrity.

I'm on the fence on Pogba for the reasons you all mention. However, the midfield looks a lot different with Pogba, Locatelli and Zakaria as your three. It won't hurt to have Chiesa back along with Vlahovic. I think SMS is the more sure thing, and we can't avoid any more screw ups with midfield signings.

I don't watch the EPL so I can't judge Pogba now.

If comes back and plays the way he did for Juve from 2012–2016, I'm sure he would be a welcome addition.

If he plays near that level, he becomes arguably the best attacking midfielder in the league and one of the best in the world. He was so good here.

I only worry about the health issues, I don't think off field stuff will be a problem here. I believe it was blown way out of proportion at United because the team was always under achieving and he was played out of position.

If we could swing the finances, SMS would be the safer option with similar results.

4 hour meeting today with Pogba's entourage. Word is that Pogba wants some time to think about it since the pay would be lower than PSG's offer.

€5M/year is pretty much right for a soon to be 30 year old MF who had an injury riddled season. I'm sure that Juventus will pay more and be disappointed.

Pogba was a beast at Juve, but he wouldn’t have the same elite players at midfield. He is definitely an upgrade from the group we have, but we need more parts.

Word is that Juve and Di Maria are very close to coming to a deal, 1 year with an option for an extra year.

I guess that's the band aid for the Dybala departure.

For a year sure, at least there's no transfer fee. But he's 34 years old and won't have much in him beyond that.

Even at 34 hes a much better player than Dybala so for a year its no big deal. Gives us a chance to fix other areas before needing to replace Dybala with a long term player

If DiMaria gets about €1-2M, it's an OK move. He's taken very good care of himself and can be a good spot player for the club. Certainly he is not a 90 minute every game player these days.

If UEFA keep the 5 substitutes per game players like DiMaria have more value. AFAIK, other than England most leagues still have this number of subs.

The Pogba injuries were mostly faked by him trying to stay out of the train wreck that is ManUtd team.
He wanted to leave past 2yrs but no one wanted to pay for his fee so he stayed to go free this year and get best deal. That was probably instructed by Raiola.

Locatelli is pretty elite and Miretti looks promising. Zakaria and McK are good hustlers, with Pogba our mid would be exciting again. We just need to get rid of the dead weight; Rams Rab Arth

I have been really impressed with 18 year old Miretti. He played almost the whole second half as the only legit CM. After Locatelli went off, he had Berna and Alex Sandro to partner him...WTF?!

Between Miretti, Fagioli, and Rovella...those are some potentially great options. If we were able to move the players you suggested along with Pogba or SMS, I woud be happy.

I have a feeling they will be selling McKennie.

Not sure why exactly but that is what I think.

Because he is one of the few players with value in the club. De Ligt, McKennie, Locatelli, Zakaria, Vlahovic, Chiesa are pretty much the only players with good value. Vlahovic, Zakaria, and Locatelli just arrived and Chiesa is Italian and coming off of an ACL tear.

I hope Wes doesn't leave but every player has a price and if an EPL club comes in for 40-50m he will be moved. I would much rather see Ramsey, Arthur, and Rabiot move before him but if the money is right and young midfielders like Rovella, Fagioli, and Miretti showing potential, being Italian, and already owned by the club...
