Well, Arsenal is not doing us any favors. I guess we'll need another point at least.

Of course Arsenal would be useless.

If we can’t get 1 point from Leicester or Watford then we don’t deserve top 4. Even with everything this year we should be locked up.

Neither team has anything to play for, so I'd hope they don't try to make a point, but who knows.

Yeah, but Vardy’s back and I’ll bet he feels like he’s got some goals to catch up on.

That's for guaranteed top 4 but, obviously, that assumes they don't drop points as well which, with sperz and LeArse, is FAR from a certainty.

For sperz, Norwich are down but Burnley will still be fighting to stay in the league and, for LeArse, the toffees will be fighting like tigers to stay in the EPL and ALL the barcodes players will be trying not to get replaced by big money signings in the transfer window so will be running around like demented chickens. For us, Watford are already out of the league so even if Leicester are up for it, so will we be.

Also, don't forget, we've got both of our last two games at home whereas both sperz and LeArse are playing one game away.

Don't say that. Our home record is not so great.

Again, as someone said, if we can't get a draw from a relegated side, AT HOME, we ain't gonna do shit in the CL anyway so maybe we should save ourselves the embarrassment of trying.

I think sperz and LeArse are more likely to drop points than us because they're sperz and LeArse.

Spurs are not letting us take the CL spot w/out actually needing points.

I hope Newcastle hangs an L on Arsenal. I’d much rather see Spurs in the top 4 than Arsenal.

If Arsenal lose here (down 1 with 9 minutes to go) then top 4 is locked in for us.

Yup, locked into UCL. Just need 1 point from our last two and we finish 3rd.

It would have been pretty unlikely we wouldn't, tbh.

It's a bit like the old thing about whether a side that's in bottom place at christmas can escape relegation, despite there being some 54 points to play for in half a season so they COULD end up near the Europa league places.

So, y'know, of course they can and a few have... but if they've played half the season and they're in last place, there's going to be a reason and it's probably because they're just not very good. So theoretically they can but the likelihood is they won't which is why only 3 teams have in the past 30+ years IIRC.

How we've been playing for the past few months is how sides like LeArse and sperz normally play :D

Arse really have been Jekyll and Hyde this season. Missing out on the CL would definitely suck for them.

That’s kinda harsh. We set a high standard for ourselves but two cup finals, a Club World Cup, and third behind two better teams all with the injuries and turmoil we’ve had…that’s a pretty successful season when you step back from it.

    EDIT: and the Super Cup.

Yeah, I agree. It's been a 'season of two halves', to coin a phrase and the loss to pool was disappointing but we're still in the CL next year. TBH, the FA final could have gone either way at the end so I'm not too disappointed.

As you say, some people need to step back from the ledge :D

The Scottish Cup final has been entertaining. Seems like a pretty rough league? Lots of grabbing and fouling. Haven’t watched a lot of the Scottish Premiership.

Nights at Anfield, all the closet Pool fans yell as Ancelotti wins yet another CL.

Seems like the Liverpool fans are all crying . . .because they were tear gassed.

Is it not strange that all these incidents always seem to involve scousers without tickets? Stadium disasters? Robbing their own fans of tickets. Storming the poor workers at the turnstiles. Always blaming the 'authorities' - but the simple fact is, Liverpool fans are scum. Not the popular belief, but the accurate assessment.
