ugh! This match is a perfect microcosm of the past ~12 years.

My disgust with our gaffes is total. Who's more to blame for the first one?

I was personally booing the ref at the end of the game and not the Fire - felt like the crowd was on the same vibe but I could be wrong. Last year we had a bad team, with mostly bad players, and got bad results. This year I feel like our players are good and it will eventually come together. Losing like this though, where we basically gifted the other team 3 points, is tough.

As tough a loss as it was, I woke up feeling great for one reason still- at least I don’t live in ********ing Cincinnati.

I know he didn't have too much time in the match, but how did Torres look in his minutes?

    Why boo the ref?
She did not score an own goal.
She did not force SLONINA into a stupid attempt at clearance or Wyatt to fall down under no pressure.

There was a play where it looked like Shaqiri was fouled in box a few minutes before the whistle, and it was not called or reviewed.

    Booing for a non call?
Those things pretty much always even themselves out.

If anything, Boo her for not giving the whiny little bitch Alonzo a second yellow card for being a whiny little bitch.

I pay good money to boo refs for any and everything and absolutely booed her for both

To be fair to her, she did a really good job last night and was every bit the fair arbitrator I expect all refs to be. I’m still gonna be tho ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I didn't see that as a foul, let alone a penalty. Shaqiri was looking for the contact. Maybe some ref calls that, but it would've been a harsh decision (though maybe that evens out the NYRB one). The call that stands out to me was the one along the sideline where the two guys went shoulder to shoulder and the foul got called on the Fire. There was nothing in that one.

The Shaq foul in the box happened directly in front of us, so from our perspective and with Fire blinders obviously on, it looked like the easiest PK call that was ever not called. I haven’t seen the replay and I’m sure it was not a blatant PK and the fact that it didn’t go to VAR means it likely was an easy non-call but again, refs gotta get booed, man- the shoulder to shoulder that got called on the Fire also elicited boos.
