In any case the setup for this goal was fantastic. It was entirely setup by our four defenders, which is crazy. Nacho recovers it and continues the play then passes it to Mendy who then crosses the ball into the area, Militao is there to put it down for Rodrygo with his head, Rodrygo gives it back for Militao to chase who passes to Carvajal .. ..you know the rest.

Up until now, the the fisrt KO round, the QF and the semi final, I’ve worked on all those days. Which means I watch the game on demand in the evening. It’s not a big deal for me as I’m pretty good at staying off Twitter and not checking the score. But I really miss not being here on the game thread with all you guys. It’s just a much better experience for me when I second screen it. I’m so used to it. Especially on big nights this place is fantastic, enjoying the sweet victories with you guys make it more special for me. I’ve worked on all these match days and we’ve won and gone through, do I dare change the routine or just go to work and watch it later in the evening?

Im not superstitious but damn I don’t want to jinx anything at this point.

This years team is incredibly difficult to beat. You could go a couple of goals up, you as the oppossition would still be wary.

Don't get me wrong, Liverpool are still favorites, but the gauntlet we went through to get to the finals, makes the final look simple in comparison.

It's this teams unbreakable spirit and the weight of the Madrid shirt. There is non like it in European top flight.
