Allegri zero trophies, first manager since Del Neri to not win a trophy.

Was always a mistake to bring him back.

So we have taken two of our penalty takers off now in berna and Dybala. Also our most creative player.Locatelli has been non existent. Wouldn’t even know he is on the pitch

No worse than the one not called on Dusan in the first half.

    Max sent off.

We would have been better off he had been sent off at the start of the second half.

Well I hope Allegri owns up and takes the blame for this defeat with the timing of his subs and changing us from playing fluid fast dangerous football to defending and out of possession of the ball. As soon as you go 5 at the back you have no outlet and allow the other team to just keep recycling the ball

Allegri is not the only one at fault. The players playing like trash should also be on blast.

Equally the team failed to garner anything but paychecks. Guilty as well

IMO Allegri is at fault. The dynamics of a game normally change in the last 5 to 10 minutes when the team in front drop deeper and defend. Allegri has made that happen since the 70th minute by bringing on bonucci and going 5 at the he back. This has allowed inter to take control of the game. He has then tried to change it back but by that point inter are in full control and we have lost our fluidity and tempo when trying to transform defending into attack

I’ve been saying all season long that Allegri always ends up subbing way too late and most of the times we end up conceding. Guy has lost his edge. I have 0 faith with him at the helm of Juve.
    It’s time we bring Zidane.

Terrible decision to go 5 at the back so early, was asking for trouble with this team. I don't understand how Max continues to think this is his old BBC team with the MVPP in front? Maybe for the last 5-10 minutes, max. Locatelli and Danilo didn't seem ready for this match. 1 cost us an early sub, the other didn't have any influence in the game, especially compared to Zakaria who was fine. Miretti would have absolutely brought something more based on the previous matches. Arthur was terrible as well, useless midfielder when trailing.

Terrible decision to give Lautaro that penalty, was way soft and Dusan should have had some too if they were handing them out so softly. Not too mention Brozovic should have been sent off, but I'm less miffed about that one. The officiating in this match was as one sided I've seen.

Lets waste another season hoping Allegri will magically fix things

pirlo with 0 experience did better. That should tell you everything. The man is done.

Sooner we accept this and move on, the better its for us.

They aren't sacking Allegri. In fairness, Pirlo got lucky that Napoli shit the bed or we would have missed out on CL last year. Allegri has not done a good job, but this team is shit. Arrivabene made a great signing in Vlahovic and a good one in Locatelli. Hopefully we have a good summer transfer window and you give Allegri another run with a better roster.

The conversation has seemingly been the same for years. "Allegri's cycle is over". "Sarri isn't good enough for Juve". "Pirlo isn't experienced enough for Juve". And now, "Allegri's brand of football doesn't work". While there may be some truth to all these statements, the common thread the last five years is that the midfield has been shit; and to compound issues, we didn't have a reliable attacker this year after Chiesa got hurt until we signed Vlahovic.

I continue to find it hard to blame the manager where all these guys had major personnel issues.

    Lucky?
It was this year where everyone shit the bed. No one wanted scudetto and Atalanta choked too.

we only needed 69pts to qualify for CL, last year we needed 78

    Allegri got super lucky

Yes, lucky. Napoli never should have missed out on the Champions League last season. They couldn't beat Verona, a mid-table club, at home with their CL life on the line. Pirlo got lucky.

This isn't an endorsement of Allegri. I'm just pointing out that we can't keep changing managers every year and expect miracles where you have guys like Rabiot, Arthur, Bernardeschi, De Sciglio and Alex Sandro as regular starters.

I dont get the logic of we CANT change managers every year argument….if someone sucks you kick him out we dont have luxury of waiting while players get older and money is on the line. It would be disastrous if we dont make CL next year. All because of what? Because we shouldn’t? Its like staying in a toxic relationship hoping it gets better.

whatever the case is Max should be evaluated by mid next season and if its still same shit he needs to go. It doesn’t matter what we did in the past. Its about the future.
