Late to the party, I was acting a fool like lots of you on here with the comeback and eventual win. My wife who doesn’t watch that many games was shaking as much me.

This team has given us some incredible moments recently. I think I read 5 of the last 8 finals now, the crazy last minute goal for La Decima, three in a row when no one has done the current format even back to back, won 4 out 5 finals in this stretch, along with watching some amazing players and now this year is just leaving me breathless.

Astounding effort, others mentioned the names that finished the game weren’t as big as those that started but showed heart! What a crazy recruitment strategy for the best talent, winners mentality all around. What a ride in a rebuild period!

I thought both of our pressing and our playing out of their press were on point for large parts of yesterday's game, ignoring the couple of times Militao was shitting his pants that is.
I hope we work on it more ahead of the Liverpool game, they're much easier to press than City are since their midfielders aren't as good on the ball outside of Thiago so if we do that well we could be in for some good times.

I don't think it's been said and if it has not enough, but Nacho had the best performance of his life.
10/10 performance. As good as any player on that field if not the best.
Even had a moment when they scored their goal encouraging Karim "hasta final"

Yea. We have had Capello, ZZ and Carlo return as coaches in last 20 years. Mou still has hopes and who knows if he mellows down with age. I think he's genuinely happy for Carlo too after getting back to this level from Napoli and Everton stints. Mou probably going through that as he went from richest clubs to Spurs and then Roma.

When Rodrygo scored the 1st goal, first thing that came to my mind was the comeback vs Gladbach when we scored 2 late goals to make it 2-2. And then we did it against City. Amazing. [emoji7]

Carlo's adjustments after the first leg was good. City rely heavily to create through the midfield. Their FVs don't pose much offensive threat. Cancelo's preferred position is RB. Walker wasn't gonna do anything offensively with Vini pinning him back.

KDB has one of the most ineffective games I have seen under Pep. Playing double pivot to limit their space in middle really worked well. We really put them under a lot of pressure for the first 15 mins of second half too. Vini had a dreadful spell during that time missing a good chat and terrible first touch in the box twice when he was about to be in 1v1 situation.

If you understood spanish, you would also understand what "A por la 14" means. I recommend google translate. Try that next time before posting something so embarrassing.

I suppose you must be blind to how Klopp and Salah behave when they lose. Complaining about the stadium and tweeting about revenge is real classy.

The clowns are the ones who knocked out the best teams in the competition? Meanwhile your team beat who to reach the finals? Even your latest CL trophy was against a weak af Tottenham and serial underachiever Pochettino. Let's see how they fare against some real competition.

The RMBS forums have somewhere between 20-30 regulars posting each and everyday. If you go to any other teams thread on bigsoccer, you'd be surprised to see 1/4th the activity you see here. It makes sense why the posters of the other teams get lonely and come here for some company. They're more than welcome as long as they're not morons.

PS: Liverpool threads had like 4 posts on the day of their game, lulz. Man Shity's BS thread is barren as well.

He was an absolute walking disaster against them. It was at that moment that most of us realized how thoroughly checked out Varane was and we welcomed him moving on for his big payday. We wish him the best of luck at Man Utd. Playing alongside the legendary Harry Macguire must be delightful.

I was watching the game at a Cafe with a big crowd while I was on vacation in Egypt, and after one of VJs mistouches I said Rodrygo will come on and finish this game. Literally the next play Carlo subs him on, and then yall know what happens. My man made me look like Nostradamus

Luck, schmuck, City lost this game in the first leg, you can't come to the Bernabeu with a 1 goal lead. This stadium loves a Hollywood script, and with players like Carvajal and Modric killing themselves on the field we were always going to win. Foden and Laporte belong in Barcelona by the way, yall of course know what I mean by that.

Another outstanding that thing about City was they had 3 captains during the game.

Started with Dias, then gave it to Gundogan and finally Fernandihno.

Tried sharing video of reactions from the game. Files are too big.

Watched the game on the big screen cinema. Crazy experience. Two days later and my voice is still gone.

So Big Benz offered it to Rodrygo to complete his hattrick? What a guy, much love for Benz and the other vets with how they are handling the younger players in the squad.

    Is it the 28th already?

I love how this thread is still active. Even my friends who don't care about European football or football in general, are still talking about it.

That's why RM is the biggest club in the world.
