not for nothing but Villarreal won Europa league last year, finished 7th in la liga and now in UCL semis. There is nothing wrong with Roma, a second tier side at best following a similar trajectory
That's right. The key to winning this tie is to not make any big mistakes or too many small mistakes. If we don't do that, I am confident we will win.
Leicester are HUGE favourites for this match. Leicester fans have even bought the flights for the final. To be honest, I can see their point.
It's hard to predict which Roma will show up. I'm hoping for a good contest and to see Zaniolo do something special again. BTW Rodgers has an enormous respect for Mourinho, who was something of a mentor to him. The contest between them alone will be intriguing because they know each other so well.
Our record in Europe is so pathetic, this is more about damage limitation. Don't get me wrong, I hope we beat that dog shit team. If we are been honest, we will probably lose at least 3-0. Our performances against English teams are disgraceful. There is no reason to suggest it will be any better against Leicester.
Our performance against any good team has been pretty pathetic for a while now. This year marks only 3rd or 4th time in the entire history of our club that we've lost every single match against Juve, Inter and Milan: 0-0-7 this season. That said, Leicester is closer to Atalanta, Fiorentina and Lazio than Top 4 and we have been decent against "Europa League" level competition this year.
Zalewski has been excellent. The scoreline is good but we need to play far better in terms of not giving the ball away so cheaply. There is for sure another goal here for us if we can be a little smarter in possession.
That was coming. The ball has been in Roma’s half for pretty much the entire half. Eventually someone was going to make a mistake.
We're playing rubbish. Hopefully we can scrape parity and get back to Rome. Zaniolo spent more time on his ass than feet tonight.
lol I have to hand it to your creative takes to keep spinning your story. Thank God we have a sensible manager again and in one short season we have seen great "progress" to get back to having a real chance again.
