It's still early on the "can't score" front, but he does fall down a lot - sometimes by being fouled, sometimes not. I'm sure Arena is happy for his boys to welcome him to the league.
New England is one of a handful of teams with 1 or less PPG. This is two bad teams going at it so let’s not get ahead of ourselves
The level of effort is a bit better, but the level of effectiveness isn’t great. A couple of scuffed chances and one terrific save apart from the goal. This is among the reasons I feel that expected goals is a useless stat. You either finish your chances or you don’t. The results tend to be better if you do.
These have been two passes from New England defenders directly to United players leading to the goals lol
Haha. Bit early there. The guy is having an amazing debut. My take is the rest of the clowns are still the same and he’s the difference. OTC would’ve scored Estrada’s goal. Flores should be subbed at the half. What a pathetic dp.
Gressel, Durkin, and Canouse are the engine. Fountas is impressive. If not for a world class save, we'd be up 4-1. If not for ridiculously incompetent passing from Flores, we might be up more than that. Flores can fly back to Peru tonight for all I care. He's horrible. Like stupidly bad. FFS.
Oh, and Dave Johnson can just STFU about Carles Gil. He sounds like Cris Collingsorth talking about Aaron Rodgers.
