I have zero expectations in Serie A. The way I see it CL is out of reach. I just hope we will win the Conference League.

Yeah, not sure why people are really even talking about the 4th spot. If we win at Napoli and then win at Inter... Maybe talk about it then.

I think winning the conference league would build a lot of enthusiasm and erase any negativity of the up and down season.

It also gives us a Europa League spot when finishing 5th is no guarantee with our schedule.

Whatever the result in what will be a difficult game, a good performance is essential in order to build consistency to help prepare for the semifinal and try to ensure at least a top 6 finish.

Well Juve tied Bologna, this game has more meaning now.

No it doesn't... Remember some morons here started laughing and claimed we have 0% chance reaching 4th because Juventus are unstoppable apparently.

    You just can't fix stupid.

    Wait a minute!

Is this why this game has more meaning now? Why are you contradicting yourself bud?

Mkhi-Tammy-Pellegrini works a lot better in tighter spaces, but I think this will be a good one for Zaniolo. There will be a lot of space to run into on counters and I would expect him to torch Rui.

I know math is hard for most Italians(unemployed, uneducated, etc) but just hypothetically if something goes from 2% likelihood to 9%, the odds have increased while still being unlikely.

Again, You didn't answer my question, and you keep running your mouth by calling me Italian even though I'm not lol. Maybe you should take off your double masks so your brain can get more oxygen.

So before Juventus vs Bologna it was 2% likelihood and now it's 9%? So let's say we win tomorrow and we cut the gap to 3 points, is it gonna be 15.9%? Answer me Mr. Mathematician.

You retards claimed that it would be impossible for Juventus to drop points in their next 6 games, and now you want to change the narrative. So take a seat and let the grown ups talk.

You clown. Stop putting words in peoples mouths. Nobody ever said anything was impossible, highly unlikely yes, but not impossible.

    'Impossible' was never the argument.

    BRUH!!!!

So in your logic it's NOT impossible to achieve something if the likelihood is less than 1%!!!

I just took a metaphorical dump on your chest and you're still running your mouth. Just admit you were wrong and move on.

Of course the odds increase if we get 3 points tomorrow, that’s the point lol. The whole reason people think we won’t get CL next year is because it is extremely unlikely we beat Napoli and Inter, if we beat them then the odds of us getting CL increases drastically.

Juve’s schedule is easier, but they still have some pretty tough games left as well. Fiorentina, Lazio and Sassuolo are all very capable of beating them and all three are still fighting for European spots so they shouldn’t roll over.

I still can’t imagine finishing 4th but Juve have been just barely scraping by for awhile now.

If Roma gets 3 points against Napoli tomorrow they are very much in contention for a top 4 spot. The problem is they’ll need to duplicate that immediately against Inter and then go back to having mid week matches as well. We all would love them to, but it remains extremely unlikely they’ll pick up 16 or more points in their last 6 league matches which is probably going to be necessary to get a top 4 spot.

Yeah, I don't think anyone predicted Juve to not drop 6 points -- maybe even 7 or 8 points -- from their last 6 matches.

It's that no one's confident of Roma winning every one of their last 6 matches.

But, like I've been saying, if Roma can win away at Napoli and then win at Inter, it will be time to start talking seriously about a possible 4th place finish.

The real question is whether we can hold onto 5th or even 6th, and that is what Jose is focused on. Anything else is just fantasy right now.

I agree with this, notwithstanding the run of positive league results we have.

The tie against Leicester City and the several difficult league matches left point towards preserving what we have rather than challenging for fourth.
