Do you think it’s harder to get Argentina TST-3 during the 1phase lottery or argentina single match during this lottery ?

Match Hospitality gives you Qatar, UAE and Oman hotels so there must be some options getting across.

It gives you hotel options in UAE and Oman???
Has this just changed, because up until now they have been "coming soon"

Edit - just checked, and they are still "coming soon"
Not soon enough though, because for my dates there is now only one Hospitality option for 7 nights, the Intercontinental at US$50,050.
There are places in the world where I could buy a house for that much!

VIP Match Hospitality not the usual normal page, but yes you are right I just checked it’s coming soon. One of my guys that deals with them says they are able to book with the concierge. I’m guessing it’s the millionaires with private jets. IMG_8094.jpg

It was hard during phase 1 lottery obviously, but was easy during the FCFS. I guess it’ll be the same this time with all the unpaid applications and all.
And yeah i guess it’s gonna be harder this phase because everyone know their opponents and it’s gonna be really hard to get the Argentine-Mexico match especially

Both are hard to get. The pie is smaller now and you’re competing with more fans. the Argentina- Mexico match is the impossible match. The Saudi Arabia match almost impossible. The Poland match nearly impossible.

You and the entire world. But you may get lucky and land them. Make sure to select that you will accept tickets in other categories. And if don’t get lucky ; stick around for the FCFS phase. That’s where most of us have had success.

The Arg x Mex game will be at Qatar’s biggest stadium. I actually think it will be easier (though not “easy”) to get tix to this game compared to Arg x KSA that is at a smaller stadium

I know, I always select cat 1 and accept other categories. This will be my 4th WC, I was able to get hard to get tickets in previous WC, got the Mex-Bra in 2014 and the Mex-Ger in 2018, so I’m not losing hope just yet I know I’ll get something. I just hope that for the next FCFS phase I’m allowed in earlier, I was in the queue at least 45 min before and got in 2 hrs after it opened when all I was looking for was gone. It was frustrating to see everybody going in and landing their tickets and me staring at the snail speed bar.

You're probably right about the KSA match. I'm not familiar with the region. But it's the first match for both and what's to stop Saudis from driving to Doha and buying up tickets from fans/touts. Kind of like what happened to Barcelona at the Camp Nou yesterday v Frankfurt. A sea of green at Lusail. Can't wait. The FCFS will be our best chance. And hopefully we'll have a scanner for the last minute phase.

I guess the only ones that could drive to Doha from Saudi Arabia would be the ones with tickets to that or any other match, otherwise they wouldn’t have a Hayya card and hence wouldn’t be able to enter Qatar.

Current rules states that, but it will surely change. There is now way GCC nationals are going to be blocked from entering during tournament time, especially saudis. Doha will have a huge influx of saudis arriving for the matches without tickets.

Hi all. Just a question for the ones that have booked your accommodation. I'm planning to most likely stay at Madinat Khalifah South Apartments. When I put in 3 people and 1 room for this apartment, it displays a 2 rooms apartment standard up to 4 guests (attached). So what displays then is correct for 3 guests in an apartment? Little concerned in if it's correct as don't want to face any issues later on when I arrive in qatar.

it's confusing. Think of "rooms" as whole apartments instead of bedrooms, which is called "bedrooms". If you select 2 "Rooms" with 2 "Bedrooms" it will give you 2 separate apartments each with 2 Bedrooms. I didn't understand it right away when I first used it.

What you are showing now should be correct for what you want. A single apartment ("Room") with 2 bedrooms, one bedroom has a double bed and the other bedroom has two single beds.

Thank you Pablo. Appreciate it . It is really confusing and you don't want to make any mistakes on this as well and end up paying more while in qatar.

They can buy a cat3 in an unsold out game , or use someone's application number to get a hayya card

Exactly. The current system is just a pain in the ass, you can get by pretty easily even if you do not have a ticket to enter, get hayya card or book an accomodation.

It is just another we made something to "look like" we do something but in reality the whole thing is BS. We got pretty used to this during the covid times though..

But they need to book accommodation to have a Haya which won’t be that easy (we assume).

Yes. This will likely happen a lot. Expect to see lots of Saudis camping out or sleeping in their cars and looking for tickets to the Saudi Arabia games. Kind of like the Argentines in Brazil 2014, probably even more.

33 million saudis, lots of them very wealthy with a chance to watch their team play vs Leo Messi and Argentina... come on? I'm anticipating a crazy environment for this game.

Same here, It will be one of the most sought out ticket, all the three matches of Saudis. Saudis will come to qatar whether they have the ticket or not. My qatari told me that in the borders towns of saudi the hotel rates are already increasing exponentially. And personally i dont think any rules currently in place for haya card requirement for entry will stand for GCC nationals. Something will give, and there will be a free flow of the locals from neighboring countries.

I beg to differ! These are played in huge stadiums, plenty of space. My best guess is that 20.000 argentinos tops in the whole WC.
