Luckily that wasn't Porto or Sporting. Would have been 0-5

Not getting cucked by LFC. But congrats on your moral victory.

TBH, I'd rather be in SLB's shoes. They got the $20-$30 million just for getting to quarterfinals. Not bad at all considering they'll have to qualify again in August.

Yeah, that's the key thing when we go against these financially spoiled clubs like Liverpool. Is that we represent Portugal well, and show them that if we matched them in funds, we would beat them. Because it's true.

The unforced errors. Three big mistakes when we had control of the ball, cost us. I believe that set piece that made the score 3-1 came from a turnover. When it came to run of play we were much better than Liverpool. They were unable to handle our transition game and speed. Maybe I'm the only one thinking that Nelson Verrisimo could be a great replacement for Fernando a Santos. Can you imagine Portugal playing that style of football with our midfield and explosive forwards.

If it wasn't for all the oligarchs that owned these English clubs they will be rubbish.

Top three keep the small teams alive. My actual favourite team is Santa Clara so I know full well what the struggles of a small team is

They are my favorite team too. I have a soft spot for Estrella Amadora, I'm happy to see them back even though it was a result of a merger.

That performance in the house of that team is not a moral victory , it is impressive . It’s an accomplishment . Yikes is that you don’t get it . Your just disappointed that Benfica did not get embarrassed as you predicted .

Could you imagine if that ball would have went in and Benfica would have gotten a 4-3 lead with 10 minutes left. Liverpool goalkeeper saved the day. Liverpool would have folded like a cheap chair.

What's their payroll and how many of these gems were produced by Liverpool. English soccer is lousy, UEFA basically handed them the Euros and they still choked.

LOL Jesus man. You drew Liverpool at home with a roster that cost over $200 million in transfer fees. Congrats. I'd say you guys win the Moral Victory Champions League trophy but that's probably going to Villarreal.

Was waiting for you chime in after losing to Portimonense TWICE.

That being said, Benfica has actually played admirably well in this entire competition frankly. No idea why they completely suck ass in all other competitions, aside from the fact that their defense is complete shit.

Was it a pen probably but to send him off is Sad, player went across him, why can’t ref and var look at that and only give a pen, if he had tried to take the man out or even gone for a tackle and missed then maybe a red?
