No, the foul was just outside the penalty area but Felix fell inside, so a free-kick was the correct decision.

The first half performance did not merit a goal, being honest.

However, Gymober should have been sent off by now after committing far too many fouls.

I don't care if it was a penalty or not. We're playing against last place team, we should be dominant!

I was obviously talking about the foul on Mkhitaryan not the one on Afena.

    Ah, sorry!
Well that one was too soft and - not being an obvious error - was not reviewed.

Good character and fighting spirit to come back. This team is showing necessary grit. A good summer mercato and we may just have something going forward.

I could tell the players were tired after playing last Thursday in a shįtty 3rd tier league. I hope playing in that shįtty league doesn't cost us the 4th spot. We are 5 points behind Juventus and it's achievable if Juventus keep dropping points.

why is everything so hard for us lol

Zaniolo needs to stop going for power on every shot. Placement works well too. too bad he couldn't finish that chance at the end of the game. It would have done wonders for his confidence.

The squad should be commended for the determination which ultimately brought us the win. That quality is often essential when you are chasing the result in these type of games.

Creating good quality chances is obviously our biggest problem; only by improving our precision in passing in attack can we resolve this. If we do not, we will rely on individual brilliance and restarts, like today.

    It was an important win.

Echoing that our midfield is just so weak. Oliveira is a guy you pick up on a free, not that you activate for 13m euros.

Cristante is rotational, not much more to say.

Cristante and Oliveira are just square pegs in round holes at the moment, last night they were playing essentially 2 v 4 for the first half in midfield and 2 v 6 in the second half (on two days rest)...

also if we don't buy Oliveira, who are the midfielders next season? Cristante, Diawara & Villar? Surely need something to build on... I understand 13mill is seemingly expensive for a player of his age, but you put Oliveira next to a regista next season and you will get a lot more out of his qualities, the priority needs to be offloading Diawara and Villar (if he has no future here) and buying a regista.
