Going to Qatar 2022: tickets, accommodations, etc. (non-politics)

The thing is these stadiums were done for the world cup and only for the world cup, so things are figured out from the beginning. In the arab cup i, the media section of the 4 stadiums i have visited was really big amd looks ready for the world cup. I still think and hope that no seats reduction will be applied

You’ll be easily the cleanest mf in the country.

 

Los angeles to Tehran flights are around 750 with a stop in istanbul. A 2 hour flight from Tehran to Doha is $1200 USD. crazy!

 

Those are roll in showers. If you have not booked an accessible room I would not assume you would get one although it may be that some of the newly constructed places are designed to accommodate either disabled or non disabled guests.

If you get a roll in shower just look at it that you got it because Qatar is trying to make the world’s greatest event enjoyable for all sorts of people, and then perhaps it will seem ok.

I see today a studio appartement for 365 QAR per unit per night. With 2 people 1000 EUR for 11 days. What do you think guys. Waiting for hotel prices or other appartements or book this.?

 

Depens on what is your budget? If you think you can book a hotel remotely close to this price level, you are wrong.

 

What a shame ! Some charters will fly from other small cities may be or qeshm island (in iran).
It willcbe amazing if you manage to visit tehran before flying to the world cup
. As of now qatar airways control the market. I hope other local airlines will shedule flights and prices will go down

 

I bought a four stadium series ticket and one of the games are on the same day as England play so does this mean I can’t apply for a England ticket

 

So my Hayya card was approved pending accommodation which I have been looking at this morning.
I found a ‘cheap’ place to stay but after April 30th non refundable! I have a TST3 for Wales’ group games as long as Wales qualify,but won’t know the outcome until June.
If Wales don’t qualify my TST would be cancelled and my Hayya card as well? Then I would also lose my hotel and payment, so really I should wait to book my accommodation until after the playoff game, too much money to lose.

How did you get the exactly location?

I insert the name and street number on Google and noting shows up.

Does anyone know if you're able to buy a game in the next phase when you've already an allocated game for that day? Looking to get the earliest game when I have already the latest kick off.

Alternatively - if not, would it be too late to set up another account (in another person's name who is coming) and apply for the game? Or would they already need to have been set up?

 

Info on Hayya card: Hayya card is the only entry permit to Qatar and is valid from November 1st 2022 - January 23rd 2023. The Hayya Card will allow for multiple entries between November 1st 2022 and December 22nd 2022

Not clear. But you should know as soon as the draw phase opens whether you can apply for a match and you will have a long time to try other methods if not.

During Sales Phase (1) before the Final Draw, you may not apply for different ticket products for the same match or for matches that will be played on the same day. Ticket applications for matches that will be played on the same day will only be possible for some group matches, after the Final Draw and subject to the compatibility rules to be confirmed by FIFA Ticketing on FIFA.com/tickets in due course.

To me this says that the upcoming phase will allow for multiple games on the same day. I understand why it was not allowed pre-draw as it could have caused overlaps.

It's not clear to me what these 2 statements mean though:

If some same day group stage games are allowed, which ones are not? It may be that you can't choose back to back games.

It would be nice to know what the "compatibility rules" are.

 

All the images are repetitive, so either they fashioned everything the same, or the images are indeed random and only representative of what you will get.
My guess is that there isn't one apartment/villa that will actually look like the pictures.

 

Can you give more details on what you mean by “approved pending accommodation”? Are you required to have confirmed accommodation in Qatar to be issued a Hayya card? This would be a problem for people planning to “day trip” from Dubai and other nearby locations.

 

I actually read it somewhere but I can not find it now. It was on FIFA's website.
