Mexico is one of the few teams that always plays Brazil and Argentina close. That's going to be a tough group
A; Qatar, Netherlands B: England, US! C: Argentina, Mexico D: France, Denmark E: Spai, Germany F: Belgium, Croatia G: Brazil, Switzerland H: Portugal, Uruguay
Love the England match-up. 1) As a dual-national, Musah will be pumped for this match. Expect him to shine. 2) Pulisic knows most of the English players well, he'll also be super motivated and play without fear. 3) England is less likely to engage in gamesmanship and flopping than some of the other top seeds (Brazil, Argentina, Portugal). 4) Berhalter and the coaching staff probably knows the England squad better than others from watching Premier League.
Oh boy. I would rather not play countries that have religious and/or political reasons to be extra motivated to beat us.
A lesser advantage but still helpful (all other factors being equal) is getting your matches started right away, at the beginning of the tournament, to spread them out just a bit better.
