I agree, Tchouameni isn't a strict DM from what I can tell. I rather not get a strict DM. Ideally, we want players that aren't tied to one position or one formation. Tchouameni, Gravenberch, Bellingham, Camavinga, Valverde are all players that can probably play in double pivots or in three man midfields.

This reads like an agent leaking in order to get us to make some kind of move so his client isn't forced to pick from places who aren't his top option.

What this tells me is the twitter ITKs which said we have closed on Tchouameni have lied, his inner circle were correct when they said we had no agreement and we (Florentino) haven't actually decided what who we wanna go in on. Maybe that is why we were meeting that other players agent.

Right now, I'd rather we concentrate our efforts on a RB, but apparently the club is content with moving forwards with Carva, Vasquez and Odri for next season.

 

If Perez stops his shopping with Mbappe, I can live with every single position on the team, except the rightback. We are not looking for a rightback for the future. We must look for someone who can start immediately.

The funny thing is that if PSG had accepted the 200m offer last summer, we probably wouldn't be able to even try for Haaland right now lol. PSG kept us in the game for both. Merci lol.

Vinicius is best suited as an inside forward playing much closer towards the goal. Once Mbappe arrives, he'll take over Vinicius' current role. There's no way Ancelotti will force Mbappe play out of position to accommodate a far, FAR, inferior player. It's just that simple.

Just like how Ancelotti didn't accommodate Bale when he had prime Cristiano.

Unfortunately, Vinicius is straight up useless as a right winger & using him as a wide midfielder in a 4-4-2 system with defensive responability is wasting his talent. Vinicius will probably be a super-sub.

Vinicius' current contract doesn't expires until summer 2024, I won't be surprised if the Brazilian actually refuse to sign an extension and wants to leave Real Madrid once he realize his situation has gone downhill.

Vinicius is 3rd most valuable player in the world, only Mbappe & Haaland are more valuable assets than him. Real Madrid can easily sell him for €100m, these money could be spent on a Carvajal replacement & forward who suits Mbappe's strenghts way better.
