Guys I asked the Hayya team regarding getting the approval on the Hayya based on an invitation by a resident friend please check their reply This is good if you have someone there. You can avoid the high accommodation prices
I've wrote them 2 emails, still no answer. My friends can't upload their passports, it's loading forever. I'm Bosnian and i did it easily, but they can't, their passport is Montenegro. We have tried everything, different photos, small, big, even different passport photos... still loading forever. We don't know what to do as Hayya Team is not replying to our emails.
My application finally was accepted yesterday, this morning I had an e mail saying it was rejected due to me not having entered my grandfathers and great grandfather’s name!, Re did it and when I entered date of birth the year only goes back to 2004, Frustrating.
For residents, the approval is on the spot since proof of accommodation is not required. My friend got it quickly. For us, the international fans, it is linked to the accommodation unfortunately. We have to wait a feedback of any member who booked an accommodation through the official platform and applied for the hayya
It took me a day for conditional approval, but it only says that I will be asked to provide accommodation information “in due course “. I have booked accommodation through the official channel but there is at this point no way to enter it in my Hayya profile.
Hi guys, I am trying to apply for my hayya card but I am having issue with the website not accepting my photo / passport scan any advice? Thank you
Same problem here. Do you get an error message or just stuck at Loading, Please Wait ... after passport upload?
It is 7 hours from DUBAI. Google shows 5 hours from Abu Dhabi. I drove the entire Emirates using Google Maps and the forecast was never wrong.
Huh? What land borders between UAE and Qatar? There are no land-borders between UAE and Qatar. You need to go via a small part of Saudi. As far as I know they are open, unless UAE-Saudi is not. My friends drove to Saudi just last week. Unless there's some rule about UAE or Qatar license plates in the other country, but I'm pretty sure all markets are open. However, don't underestimate the wait times at the border, I'm assuming it's not going to alleviate for the world cup.
Is there a Facebook group for people who already bought tickets. That way we can check others profile and with added trust can exchange tickets or plan trips. If there is none better, I created a new group https://www.facebook.com/groups/qatarworldcuptravelers/ (admins , please delete this post if this is not allowed)
