It's not that bad. No roster is ever going to perfect. We must accept this. But at least the starters and the subs are pretty much in pen. Alexis, Lianez, off the bench is good. If he starts Arteaga. Even better.
I'm not even mad that most of the squad is already set in stone. We're close to the WC, I get it. But even for fringe and backup positions he went with some really weird choices. Guessing Angulo is coming in as a fullback, backup to Araujo? Dude's almost as slow as burrito and we're playing the US. And Pizarro, wtf... we have two guys who can play his role and in much better form. I would have preferred a fifth goalkeeper over him.
I didn’t even realize Orbelin wasn’t called until I saw Coudet act all surprised about it.
Angulo is most likely a backup to Arteaga (if he plays) and one of the center backs. That's it, if Tata doesn't go with Gallardo and Moreno like he loves to.
Ángulo played well today, granted Janssen is very limited but he's a physical beast and Ángulo was not overwhelmed by the Dutch. That's a huge improvement over Chaka.
Another bad showing for the muertos of Monterrey. How Tata watches them play and says ‘this is gonna be the base of the NT’ is beyond me.
Not overflowing, but there are enough bodies to leave aside guys in bad form/quality such as Gallardo, Moreno, Pizarro and Romo.
He’s a pretty good defender but what I don’t like about him is that he’s too short for a CB and too slow for a LB. I just think he might be ok against concacaf scrubs but would struggle against real opposition
Another thing I don’t get is the hype for mozo, I’m a pumas fan and I love what he does offensively but defensively he’s pretty average at best and makes some stupid mistakes sometimes. Defensively he’s at the same level as Chaka I would say
I haven’t really watched many games recently, barbosa was pretty solid last year, but isn’t he injured tho? About Kevin I read good things but I haven’t watched a single ranchuca game in a while lol
Oh yeah, you're right about Barbosa. Quite a shame because he was with good momentum. And about Álvarez, I've heard he's been having a good campaign. Since you are the resident Pachuca experts, what can you tell us about the guy @LaMascara and @Salmos ?
