after the first half:

1. Baldisimo will NEVER be a MLS-quality MF- too slow to move the ball, poor defensively, lethargic- his conditioning still looks bad-- loan him to the CPL - there has to be better

2. Brown looks chunky and disinterested and lazy- not a good combo

both SHOULD be subbed at the half

3. How did Vanni do this ??- choosing a MF of teibert, baldisimo and brown was a disaster in the making-- and it turned out tthat way

not playing well can happen in the away opener- but playing without passion, committment and movement is just not good enough

lets see what transpires in the second half

 

Second half: subbed out baldi (100% right); quickly subbed teibert (absolutely right); kept brown in (absolutely wrong)

1. Seba Berhalter looks like a durable, reliable DMF, but nothing terrific

2. The Love Force Was Missing- Brian White- we have little threat, connection and energy on the offense

3. Cavalinni still looks like a square peg trying to fit into a round hole - mind you, not much service for the trimmer TANK... but in noway is Cava a link player

4. MIA- Ryan Gauld had little impact- he can not carry this team all season- help in the MF/striker has to be coming- can Alexandre be that player ? (question- with 3 months of an off-season, how is that Alexandre did not have a visa by training camp?)

5. None of the goals were Hasal's fault

6. Picking the Sphincter-- our defense was constantly picked apart- just too slow

7. The Short Look- Club pres, axel schuster, wont take too long to make changes if this type of performance continues- no need to panic, but time to get the scouting staff 'shaking the bushes' for 2 QUALITY PLAYERS

8. LETS SEE-- our home opener will tell us a lot - i expect a significant bounce-back- LETS SUPPORT THEM

 

the team isnt worth writing anything about- outside of hasal and blackmon, its all negative

Axel's gotta to do something- his waiting over the off-season hasnt helped the Club and, in fact, has been a detriment to building on the excitement and progress of 2021 in the last 3-4 months - the lost momentum has drained us supporters

2 things Axel has to do- a higher quality MF and striker

and hope that brian white gets better asap - 1 goal in 3 games says it, alongwith a shadow of ryan gauld

 

JJ is a small uptick from MW, but both avoided saying anything controversial - stirring the sports pot always adds spice to the controversy - and every team has it, especially when you are playing like crap - time to flush the toilet

 

GAME AT LAFC-- March 20- 1-3 loss-- WTF !!

1. POTM- Lucas Cavallini- gotta say that i have be on Cava's case, but he worked his arse off- Lucas, Tristin and Hasal showed good stuff, while the rest were pedestrian

2. Just Wondering- did Vanni and MDS shake hands at the end of the game? only 1 was smiling

3. Unbelievable Sighting- watching Cava sprinting up the field hoping that dajome would make an intelligent pass- but instead Christin did the stupid thing and shot - I didnt know that Lucas could run like that

4. If We Were Completely Honest- LAFC were a good 5 goals better than us - it was like an EPL team vs League 2 in England- with gauld and white, it would be a League 1 team

5. Closing Praise- all the players put in a shift

QUESTION- what will Axel do during the break ? and please dont toy with us by bringing in Joe Average ... we have enough of those

 

GAME VS SKC-- April 2- 1-0-- sublime thoughts and unusual claims:

1. The Blind Squirrel Claim - even a blind squirrel can find a nut sometimes- CONGRATS on your first win for 2022

2. BUT...- this is still a weak team- decent defence, some offense with white and gauld, but OMG, the MF is woeful- we wont get too many points out of this group- most are not MLS-quality and the rest are substitute-quality

3. We have the answer to above- Axel Schuster did squat-nothing in order to improve this lackluster team - when there is a will and the money, there is a way

4. I wonder...- what could this team be like with 2 much higher-quality MFs - #6, 8

4. Its a MIRACLE Claim - the H S is urging me to go to the Portland game next Saturday- i will need a bath of holy oil to fulfill the urge
