If the card, penalty is justified, why is it up for debate? Putting a general comment on numerous games is ridiculous. I’m not saying there aren’t bad calls in Porto’s favour. Clubs get decisions made for and against and sometimes they are wrong.
I dont think these refs are being paid off, but I believe Portos scare & manipulation tactics force refs to favor them in many calls. Whenever Porto is not winning it turns into a clown show. Constant fighting, hounding the ref. Imo it makes a big impact on the game

I don't think it was because didn't care about the the Europa Cup but because: 1- Porto is giving higher priority to winning the league, where the title is within their grasp, A lot of Porto players had begun showing signs of fatigue playing every 3 days, week after week, especially since they are at the latter stages of the Portuguese Cup and can't field primarily reserve squads in that competition either. So rotation becomes necessary. 2- Porto, partly due to being visibly fatigued, had a poor game against Lyon last week at home. In that game, they started the players that usually get the most minutes and since they had struggled, its possible SC wanted to feature different players this time.
