It was an ugly goal but I'm going back to before the corner....how was that not a foul on Edwards? Edwards wins the ball, but gets yanked back instead.

Especially since Cabral gets called for an almost exact foul on the other side of the pitch prior to this break.

It was nicked by Depuy I think. Otoh that shouldn’t matter since offsides should be assessed when they headed it forward. Should have been reviewed carefully.

Bond was disappointing on that play. Too passive.

It was a quick grab but not surprised it wasn’t called.

 

Seriously? looked more than a quick grab to me, but I guess that comes down to a difference of opinion.

Cabral's foul on the other side of the pitch was an even tinier quicker grab.

Watching slo mo - why didn’t Bond dive on the ball when it was stuck under Morris legs? Weird dive he took says Yoda.

 

This isn't Cabral's best game, he's had more than a few bad bounces and bad touches.

 

My tv resolution isn’t great for this game for some reason - you are likely right.

 

He just does not seem comfortable with the ball at his feet.

 

I wonder if its mandatory to go to the twellman school of douchey commentating before you can be hired by a major network to call soccer games in the US
