By the way, I couldn't find any record of the Union and Earthquakes having played at all in 2020 or 2021, but that seems hard to believe, right? I know they're in the West and, you know, covid, but still!
Fitness has not typically been an issue in recent years. Even over the stretches of 3 a week games for multiple weeks last year they seemed to have held up (despite the fan base clamoring for more rotation). We also seemed to have finally developed a respectable bench of depth and if we could ever get our full compliment of forwards available we might get something going. I hope the Union are able to capitalize on SJ's cross country, cold weather, post down-a-man-comeback-tie emotional exhaustion factors combined with home crowd excitement for the start of our shinny new DP striker and kick the living piss out of your team but since I've been a Union fan since the beginning I picked 0-0 tie. And thanks for braving the boards and posting here - always good to have discussion. Don't see your team much but last week's game was sure fun to watch (other than the Miro card - know he is not a dirty player and most here were sorry to see him go though he never seemed to fully gel with the team. Wish him well and kind of glad he will not be able to play this weekend).
Yeah, I tried to find a way to do some kind of embedded or dynamic weather forecast that would update over time, but never figured out any easy or unobtrusive solution, so I sort of gave up and figured the link would have to do. If anyone has any ideas, I'm all ears.
