Will NBC Sports Washington be providing tv coverage again this season? Also will any of the preseason matches be shown on tv? Thanks!

Ah the yearly age-old question - I had thought NBSWA had a multi-year deal, but I keep reading about some MLS-level TV package instead of team-based deals, so I am completely unsure of what will happen.

Also not sure if local NBC Sports will be affected by NBC getting rid f their national sports channel completely (they suck at sports so they probably shouldn't have a channel, but they keep bidding for sports and they have quite a few leagues they own the coverage for, so not sure why they cancelled the channel....)

Maybe others had seen this announced but I hadn't. The first game is now showing up on the schedule for the NBC Sports Washington Plus channel (at least on YouTube TV). Does everyone who gets NBCSW get the "Plus" version, too?

Happy to see NBCSW and DCU kept that relationship going.

I'm pretty sure that Verizon FIOS has it, both in Standard and in High Definition.

Standard definition is still a thing?

Depends on what your definition of "standard" is. ;)

Some of the streaming services (can't remember which ones) don't carry "plus". They were off my list. I've bounced from Sony's old PlayStation (still the best RIP), Fubo, Hulu Live and YouTube TV. I'm currently using YouTube TV because while Fubo had more esoteric and numerous soccer choices, it uses a different standard than the other services so, generally, the resolution was worse and it also would buffer more frequently than others. I watched the Super Bowl on YouTube TV which should test any service's bandwidth, and had no stuttering and constant HD quality. As I live in Alexandria, I'm stuck with Xfinity as an internet provider, but I refuse to give those pirates more money for actual TV services.
