I know it’s another sport but I’ve seen Swedish Ice Hockey players get drunk and flash the cash around in the bar I used to work in and you wouldn’t find much of a fuss made over here about it so maybe not. I just don’t think there’s as much fuss made about it abroad unless it gets out of hand.

France seems to have lots of badly behaved players and they do OK.

Yeah France really go above and beyond with their scandals. From the current squad you had Benzema who previously in trouble for visiting a 16 year old prostitute and just a few months ago was convicted of blackmailing one of his international teammates. Griezzmann and Dembele who were caught on camera for racist comments towards Japanese people last season, Zouma's recent cat kicking controversy, Lucas Hernandez who's been convicted of assaulting his girlfriend and breaking restraining orders, and Kingsley Coman who was found guilty of assaulting his ex-girlfriend.

That's before you even begin to get into things like partying.

Everyone’s favourite Rice - apparently had a nightmare..

A defensive blooper by him in the second minute practically gifted Newcastle an early goal and then another massive mistake set up Newcastle’s equaliser.

I only watched the first half where he was MIA . I don’t recall him touching the ball more than ten times . To his credit the pundits did comment that he usually plays much better ..

Smith Rowe back to starting for Arsenal so I would not be surprised to see him get called up again in March.

Maybe they gave him credit for the assist to Newcastle’s goal ?
    :)

Declan Rice - An uncharacteristic error handed Newcastle a way back into the game on the stroke of half-time. Otherwise his usual dominant self in the heart of midfield. 6

Foden has started to stagnate a little bit (less improvement this season so far compared to last season) Still at a very high level through so not something to worry about just yet.

Unfortunately couldn’t see the game but take it he was playing as a false 9? Really don’t see the best of him in that position in my opinion but due to our lack of a proper striker he’s in that position this season. It’s all a learning curve for him and will benefit him long term and nothing to worry about.

Im just going to say it. Dan Burn what a centre back, surely better than the likes of Tyrone Mings. Has been a colossus since he came in at Newcastle, look at Brightons defense since he left....

I will surprised if Southgate calls him up through.

I can’t see Maguire being axed. He feels like one of those players who is very able to suddenly return to his best when playing for England.

Kilman has more of a chance than Burn.

Yeah i agree cant see Southgate dropping Maguire or picking Burn really. If he keeps this form up just think he is definately worthy of consideration in a position which is Englands weakest.

Phil Foden's mum another one that won't be getting called up any time soon.
