I’m getting a funny feeling that the Quakes might actually win something now that Wondo is retired.

    Anyway, I’m hoping that’s the case…..

Will Wondo end up being the John Doyle of the post-Golden Age?

    GO SAN JOSE EARTHQUAKES!!! :(

I think Wondo will have his own soccer camp if he doesn’t already. I know Doyle still has one.

Doyle milked the GM job for 8-9 years and wasn’t the greatest at being in charge.

Looking back , firing him and hiring Jesse Fioranelli didn’t prove much.

If Wondo does end up with an important administrative job such as GM, I hope he has better luck than his predecessors.

Also, notice how The Golden Age (2001-2005) started right after John Doyle retired from playing at the end of the 2000 season.

Will something similar happen to the Earthquakes post Chris Wondolowski?

    GO SAN JOSE EARTHQUAKES!!! :(

    It would be nice.

We need a new LAndy and Jeff Agoos.

A great GK (like Pat Onstad or Cannon) would help a great deal too!

SSV auctioned a framed and autographed 8x10 of this TV screen cap at one of its annual dinners. Wondo’s aunt had the winning bid. She told me she displays it over her living room mantle. :)

Is there a way to force MA to attend and listen?

MA has one foot out the door. Why bother? it's coach #7 time.

Wait, shouldn’t Jebo and Cade attend?

I assume they get Wondo's direct attention every day. If they aren't taking advantage of Wondo, MA is more broken than I thought.

Yeah but maybe Cade and Jebo would improve faster if they got a little competition while attending Wondo's camp. :D

Right, maybe Wondo could explain a few things about Calvo to MA :).

Even at 39, he would easily be the Quakes best player!

Wondo would not have retired if he felt would have been the Quakes player...or even their fifth best.

After the Pefok miss vs Mexico, Wondo is still getting pilloried on the USMNT Facebook page. Some fools apparently have never made a mistake in their lives and feel that it's appropriate to keep harping on this years after the fact. Sad...

This week, we received our STH gift - a 4” piece of string between 2 plates of plexiglass we other Wondo’s sideways “8” logo, a little bigger than a biz card. Underwhelming.

What's the significance of the string?
