Since he's Brazilian, it's off limits to call him "da Rosa Correa," correct? It's just Thiago? Or Thiago Gaucho?

Well, lets hope he turns out to be the #10 we are looking for. On paper, this team is starting to form into a very nice one.

True, but names written on a sheet of paper can't actually play soccer..

he sounds like what you guys need, but he hasn't done anything in his pro career yet. also his description sounds a bit like Peter Nowak's style, could he be the next Nowak?

I can't be too bothered to look right now, but I'm pretty sure the club he's coming from is the same one that Gilberto left when he came to the Metros.

Not to blow anyones boat but this guy is absolutely tiny. Now I know alotta tiny guys are good (SWP, Maradona, Routledge, CHerundolo)

but you better be hoping he is really fast and strong. and all 147 lb of him is muscle

Well we have already seen him play in the hall of fame game. He has trained with the team on and off for almost six months. I think that if Peter and Dave had reservations about him they might have said no somewhere in the last 8-10 months.

If Thiago Gaucho coming aboard means we get some Brazilian fans, then can some Samba drums and sweeties dancing be far behind?

What I'm about to write does not mean that Thiago(tchi-ah-go) Gaucho is not a good player, but...

Ginásio Pinhalense is a Série B-3 team in the Sao Paulo State Championships. What this means is that they are a 5th division team in a regional\local championship(Série A-1, Série A-2, Série B-1, etc).

If he is horrible but a gaggle of Braslian girls end up going to Fire games, I view it as an overwhelming success.

So the consensus of those who have seen him live is he's yet another holding mid but not a creative attack-minded mid.Hope he at least pushes Capano or Thorrington or whoever is expected to set up our forwards(unless we play, as CUS suggests, through the wings and don't use a designated #10).Does anyone see him as a Guevara-type?
