I get the sense that as long as Arena is in charge, we'll have preseason training in LA.

    And, that's okay.

From Twitter "#NERevs are interested in Samuel Bastien. He’s a 25-year-old central midfielder who is currently with Standard Liège. " looks like he was a target Liverpool and Benfica a few years ago

Revs depart for LA tomorrow, and scrimmage LAFC on Saturday (3pm).

The funner part of preseason approaches.

Even though there's talk/rumors of roster additions, it certainly looks like we'll be going into the February games with what we have (unless something happens soon). :cautious:

According to tweets pretty much everyone played:

    1st half -
    Bou Buksa
    Gil
    Kaptoum Polster Traustason
    Jones Omar Farrell Bye
    Edwards

Buksa scored, Kaptoum and a chance the keeper saved

    2nd half
    Rennicks Kizza
    Rivera
    Boateng Mcnamara Buck
    Spaulding Bell AJ Bye
    Edwards

At 60' Jackson and Rohzansky came on for Edwards and Bye
82' LAFC win a pen and convert it. Ends 1-1

    Other notes:
    - Mafla didnt travel with the team. Reporting out of Colombia is hes signed with Deportivo Cali. Not sure if hes signed on a free, or if the revs had to buy him out of his contract.
    - Kessler and Knighton are with the team, but did not play. Reumors abound of a kessler injury.

Lemieux confirmed Kessler has "a minor knock" but what about Maciel? Any word if he is with the team and why he didn't play?

Looks like a pretty good crowd for a scrimmage.

Scared me for a second, I thought it was about Agudelo!

I hope JA's presence is just a professional courtesy/practice body. The guy had moments of magic, but they just become more and more infrequent as time has gone by.
