Santi wasn’t even scoring consistently with CA when he was playing. Not sure he’s head and shoulders above FM and Martin right now, which is troubling.
To be fair, most of the duses America has sent to the NT are great. Henry isn't that good IMO but at least he doesn't shrink when it counts... Same can be said about most Wilas on NT.
Gimenez had as many goals as Funes Mori last season and twice as many as Henry Martin. And he looked head and shoulders above everyone in that recent friendly. He's got the size and speed that both Funes Mori and Martin don't have. He's young and green, but I'll rather have a young guy who's hungry out there than two 30 year olds forwards who don't do anything on the field.
Not arguing that, but Martin is only with the NT because he plays with America. If Mexico wants to compete with the best, Martin is the type of player that shouldn't be getting called up. 2 goals since last summer is not a striker that should be getting playing time with a NT.
I don't disagree. We have better options and several other duses who should at least get the occasional friendly. I want to see Jeremy Marquez from Atlas get a couple friendlies in midfield. Want to see Haret Ortega in defense as well...
I wasn't concerned as the other games vs Canada and USA but once it hit the last 15 minutes, even Tata was looking like he was about to die. Fuera Gallardo, Chaka, Funes Mori, and Guardado (unless it's last 20 minutes).
Pero hazlos entender. Titi MOTM, he gave the team the belief that they could win. I just don't get it, club rivalries are supposed to be checked at the door, but certain mods don't care and even join in on the hating.

Memo is such a liability. How Tata does not see this is mind boggling. He’s consistently costs us points by staying stuck on his line.
And Charly at last going forward, after the last 3 subs he got freedom to push forward and he showed his Cruz Azul form, instead of being so static in the middle like in his last Monterrey seasons.
