We're beating 1-0 a team that is at best about New Zealand's strength (and this is a crappy New Zealand) at home. A $3.7 million team. With a team made of starters valued at around $180 million. And some will try to blame the coach only.
reminds me of quite a few people I played ball with in college, different sport but similar reactions.
In spite of a likely win, this is yet another underwhelming performance against a team we should create separation from.
It does. Players worth that much should be able to coordinate attacks instead of ignoring each other, getting in each other's way, and being unable to ever send a through pass successfully. Not to mention the garbage shooting.
The players look like they don’t know what to do in any given situation. Minimal off the ball movement, everyone reacting, not moving the ball quickly enough, etc. Everyone wants to beat a man, and the rest of the side are just standing there watching the ball.
