England is an interesting case. A lot of talk about how good squad they got but looking at it its nowhere near perfect. Foden seems to get a big hype now and is very good talent however, maybe a controversial opinion but I think Wirtz is more talented. They got some nice wingbacks though. But with their central line im not impressed especially with Kane out of form.

 

Imo Wirtz has a higher ceiling then Foden.

Also Sané > Sterling and Gnabry > Rashford. England don’t have a Müller equivalent, but he would be a starter in their team.

Only areas England look stronger is Kane + fb’s,

 

Wirtz is 3 years younger and I recall even seeing epl fans saying. Wirtz is what people wished Foden was.

 

Likewise France, Benzema and Mbappe apart, how many of their team are actually better then their German counterpart? Kimmich > Kanté and Goretzka > Pogba imo. Their defenders are mainly overrated, although I think Kounde is pretty good. Süle is better then Hernandez, Upamecano and Pavard imo.

 

Benzema/Giroud=almost done, soon enough, France has to find CF suitable to lead lines.

Süle better than Upa and Pavard I can agree. Upa is too inconsistent, excellent physicality but prone to sunday school league error-like. Pavard is average.

However Süle better than Hernandez is a stretch. Hernandez might be the only Frenchie deserve his starting XI spot in Bayern squad.

 

Think both Süle and Hernandez been good this season. Different kind of players though.

A thing I noticed with Hernandez is that he does things in a quite spectacular way. Jumps high for headers, sliding tackles etz.

while Süle often doesnt have to with his height, long legs.strong body etz
