He won’t sign until he will be 18. It will be only “Agreement” with his team. We will see his progress during these upcoming years.
Or he puts a foot wrong and quits football at 17. To me news like this kid are "ah, good to know" but until he plays for us who knows what, how, anf if he is. Patrick Frisch played for Dortmund in the Europa League at 16 in 2015, two years and an injury later he's a trainee at the Dortmund promotional office with his career behind him. Good to see we're looking at talents, but it's really nothing more than a lottery ticket.
Good to know. I am planning g to visit Barcelona in two years. I will look for Fati as the cashier at their museum store.
I mean currently the best player on this team and one of the best players in the world was signed when he was 16 too. Sure, he may not work out, but if you don't get them now, you end up offering 200M down the road.
What I'm trying to say is, that's a child. Camavinga is 19 and folks are getting stressed about his immediate and future perspective, thinking about a guy that's 15 is absolutely pointless. And let's be honest, the price is absolutely ridiculous for a 15 year old. Or you end up burning 40 to 50 mil. now. It's an investment so long term, it's pretty irrelevant to what the team is doing right now. Many of our current players will be retired by the time he'd even play his first match in Madrid.
Where some might find it stressful, I find it a pleasure. Just in the example of Vinicius, I remember watching his highlights with Flamengo regularly for years. Obviously an extremely raw player at the time, his talent was evident from the beginning. Watching him cook players much older than him in the Campeonato Brasileiro was a joy. It’s also nice to witness how far he has come. In the short term, it’s nothing to get too excited about. But we’ve had a successful track record purchasing in this market. If we’re willing to gamble with such a fee, it’s because our scouts believe the hype. It’s also nice to know that we’re in a well managed financial state in order to make such a move.
The thing is it will be 4 years before he even gets to be Vinicius under Solari for us, and who knows what the rules for teenage and foreign players will be by then. I don't feel the urge to watch a single highlight of a kid that's not going to be part of Real Madrid for almost half a decade.
I find it creepy as hell that guys say "yeah, he's a Madrid fan" dude this is a child. There's pics of Iniesta in Madrid shirts.

Investing in our future means investing in our facilities and homegrown talent. We have 0 national team players, pretty pathetic for a team with this much national pride written all over it.
Spain NT has had bang average talent for years. So turns out entire Spain is rarely producing world class talent. We can't compromise on our starting XI quality. Nacho, Lucas, Asensio etc were with Spain squad at some point and they are bench players at RM. Isco when he used to be good was RM starting quality and for Spain.
Maybe it wouldn't be bang average if the big clubs would invest in their academy instead of paying 40 to 50 mil. for teenagers. Players are not born ready, they become that. We don't really seem to worry about the academy too much if at all.
We know all this were not stupid. It’s fun watching the carreers of these kids and see if they end up at your club. It’s entertaining. More when you are part of a team with money, etc to actually make the bids and get these players. Madrid has never been an academy kind of team and Spain has never had the greatest players. Can’t tell you how exited we’re going after the new vini and not the new asensio o Ceballos. Anyways After reading all your posts on this, it’s clear your just having a no no day. You can’t be this butthurt about the possibility of our team beating our close rivals to the signing of a potential future star ams annoyed that it’s being discussed here
We invest in academy on par with the highest spenders. We have the most academy products playing in Top 5 European first division, but just not RM starting quality. Been that way since Raul and Iker. Milan had their golden generation and then a drought. Same for Barca and now they have some quality players coming through. And other Spanish clubs like Villarreal, Sevilla, Atlético, Valencia, Athletic Bilbao etc has been focused on developing youth like ever yet not many top tier talent came through unlike Silva, Villa, Torres, Xabi, Cazorla etc.
Based on my extensive research of youtube videos, one thing stood out to me. Physically, he is well beyond a 15 year old. I remember watching Vinicius tear up Brazil, but it was wildly apparent he had the strength of a 16 year old, and would go down at the slightest of touches. I also like that he's left footed, we have a bunch of right footers we keep trying to shoe-horn in on the RW, and it doesn't work. I'll trust Juni on this one
Why can't it be investing in both, why does it exclusively have to be homegrown talent, we have youth teams choc full of players right now, how does this translate to not investing in homegrown talent, if they are good enough they will succeed and rise to the top, as has always been the way
I am a Palmeiras supporter (and we have just won the U15 Cup with Endrick scoring and all). Youngsters are fun to watch but I am probably even more skeptical than 4x4. Hell, I'm still not sure Rodrygo is RM level. By the way, where the hell is Reinier? Oh yeah, and Drenthe looks amazing in this U19 Euro doesn't he? Palmeiras has been investing in the development of youngsters and is now showing. We won two Libertadores with lots of homegrown players. Danilo is the best of the bunch. You'll hear about him sooner or later, in case you haven't. Endrick does look like a solid attacker and I hope he stays in Palmeiras for a long time if he turns out good in professional football.
Who gives a shit how many Spanish players we have? Real Madrid's appeal and vast majority of its income is from its global brand, not from Spain. You're just arguing for the sake of arguing, and it's a really silly argument. Having a narrow minded approach to building a squad is a recipe for being stuck behind while the rest of the world moves forward.
For every Reinier, there is a Marcelo, or a Vinicius, or a Higuain, or a Ramos, or a Varane, or Casemiro or even an Asensio. You're not going to hit on every single one of them, but if you even hit on one Marcelo out of every 10 or 15 you buy, that's a massive success.
Absolutely, I'm just tired of this. Every January is the same thing around here. We have this U15 tournament and there's always the 'next Neymar', 'next Ronaldinho' or whatever. It's tiresome. Obviously, I hope Endrick turns out good, it would be great for the team I support here and he may even join Madrid one day. He's 15. Let's see how good he does in real football.
