Great result, props to Celta who played really well after Sevilla equalized. This game was a potential banana skin for Sevilla as Celta are unpredictable team with Aspas,Nolito etc. Sevilla has Osasuna away next, another game where they can lose points, just win tommorow and 7 points lead.
Sevilla didn’t lose, but they still dropped points, so it’s a good result. They’ll drop a lot more, they can’t keep up the chase. We just have to make sure we don’t implode. If we win tomorrow, we’ll be 6 points clear at the top. Oh, and Atletico are 2 goals down against Valencia. As things stand, we are 16 points clear of them with 21 games played.
Atleti are desperately missing a reliable goal scorer again. Suarez and Griezmann are finished, Felix isn’t it yet, Cunha and Correa are inconsistent.
Atletico 2-2 Why da he’ll Atletico always get 7-10 stopped time ?!? Edit: 3-2 Atletico Maybe it’s good , that Barca won’t finish 4th. P.S. Above 10 minutes Stopped time. they always get this over time ..
Top 4 will be tough for Barca. Sevilla and Pathetico will finish 2-3, and then it’s really the crap shoot from there who snags the last spot. I’m pulling for Betis, it would be great to see them in the CL as they play attractive football and Pelligrini deserves it, and reminiscent of his Villarreal days could have them punch above their weight in the competition.

Nah bro. They saved football. The evil Florentino Perez is elitist and EPL money and Uefa will be the salvation for all. Instead of ESL they should make more things like UEFA conference tournaments so the little man can get a shot at the top prizes. /sarcasm
That's essentially what the EPL is becoming, so you should be happy. Granted not with the amazing diverse international flavor of the 3-country ESL
Die Welt with a larger article on how interest for football keeps declining with every generation, calling it a "dying business model". Studies showing that with every year people find it more and more easier to live life without football, citing lack of true competition and hyper commercialisation of the sport as a reason for their loss or lack of interest. Some people that abandoned the sport during longer layoffs and empty stadiums didn't return after finding that they overestimated the importance of the sport in their life. Viewership also declining with every year domestically with the price of broadcast rights surprisingly trending downwards. It's not game over for football, but there is a very noticeable trend.
You won't get folks in Europe to care about the Premier League no matter what. That's the curious thing really. Outside of Europe, people are more open to European Leagues while within the continent, watching foreign football is a niche at best. There were more people watch the NFL divisional matchups in Germany than all Premier League matches combined. The football public is very much focused on their own markets and doesn't really care about what's going on elsewhere. Premier league rights switch hands every few years, I remember when Sky passed up on them they published that more of their customers tuned in for Zweite Bundesliga matches than Liverpool - Manchester United.
