I don't know if we have better anything than Pool to be honest. Yes, we have Kante. Who else on our team walks into their starting 11? Maybe Rudiger.

Sp*rs 8 points behind but FOUR games in hand! We HAVE to beat them again this weekend or else it is extremely likely that they will overtake us, in fact if we lose to them we are likely to end up 'some distance' behind them once they've played the same amount of games. Our form over the last month has been almost 'relegation' form, we are NOT getting anywhere near top 4 unless we stop the rot! We desperately need Chilwell & James - also why is Havertz not playing more often? When we played Chilwell, James and Havertz we were good enough to be European Champions!

Wow. 20-30 replays and they think that’s a penalty. Disgusting.

Spurs are tasting the good life with Conte. It's a miracle he's at the club.

Not backing him, like, at all is so Spursy. I know it's one window - but did they know January was coming up?

Comoros are playing with a 5'9" outfield player in goal and already down to ten men after 7 minutes vs Cameroon.

Talk about an uphill battle. It would be a monumental achievement for them to get past Cameroon. Rooting for the underdogs here.

Chilly is done for the year. James should hopefully be back soon. Idk what’s up with Kai but in this new system he can’t be in the front 3 with Lukaku. They operate in the same spaces and Kai generally doesn’t whip the ball in. That’s why we’ve seen Cho and Ziyech so much lately. Kai will need to be moved back some into the midfield 3 where he struggled mightily under Lamps (tho so did most of the team). I honestly think that’s where he’s best long term. Same with Mount.

I'm still surprised ACL recoveries take this long. We just saw an NFL running back come back very quick after Achilles tear. I know Ben had his surgery last month, so no surprises.

They rush back too soon in the NFL imo. The league is far less patient with players suffering serious injuries and top flight careers much shorter. I wouldn't hold the time to return as a gold standard by any means with players feeling more need to play asap regardless of the longer term health impact.

Just because they can return doesnt mean they should or are even properly recovered. Also, far more fine control needed in footy than the gridiron so the standard of health is probably that much higher. Both require a need to sprint, stop and turn, but only one requires that touch of skill with ball at feet.

Additionally, NFL players wear braces that help stabilize and minimize additional injury.

Roy Hodgson replaces Ranieri at Watford.

I wonder if Sam and Steve were also interviewed for the position for the sake of completeness.

Sadio Mane gets clearly concussed but allowed to play on, score a goal and then gets subbed out and taken to hospital.

I suppose it's all okay given he got on the scoresheet. I mean what is the point of all of these protocols if they just get blatantly ignored because a team needs a goal?

Criminal negligence or gross incompetence. Take your pick.

The two sets of people couldn't be more polar opposite. Absolutely sickening but shows just how far removed from reality fifa are. The latest head fits right in with that mucky shower.

The Twitters are saying Frank to Everton today.

    Is Romano reliable?

Good luck to him, will be a difficult job to get Everton to where they aspire to be.

Also respect to Rooney for sticking by Derby and aiming to finish the job he started. Think he's done brilliantly for them.

The idea of Rooney not interviewing for a job at his former club after just a year at Derby only for Frank to take it is like two snakes eating the other’s tail.

I can't see Everton going down. The teams below them are so bad and will continue to be bad. I think Everton will get a bounce. I just hope they can score more than they allow. They have some really good talent and are underperforming.

    I pray for Pickford's #1 England status.

Sp*rs missing out on targets left, right and centre by the looks of it. Shame.

Through they are signing both Kulusevski and Bentacur from Juve. Good signings but not in Juve's plans at all. Especially odd in Kulu's case with Chiesa now out for a long time.

The Greenwood stuff is absolutely vile. He needs to be gone from football forever. I don't want to ever hear his name again.
