The fact there are two incidents on the same weekend probably feels like more than it is tbh

One is too many but we've seen our own throw stuff in recent years as well. Not sure it's a trend and hopefully won't become one with copycat muppets.

These days it should be very easy to identify and ban the scum that throw objects.

I’m sure you’re right. Fans have always thrown crap on the field. It just seems to match the general erosion of civility since the start of the pandemic (on airlines, in restaurants and retail, etc.)

Yep. CHO and Mount both put a lot of effort in. I think they can both do better in terms of quality, but they will get there if they continue to put that level of effort in. So that was very good to see. Ziyech is a man with much to prove. AND he is doing it.

Thats how Ziyech needs to play every game. Magic.

Kepa has done perfectly in Mendy's absence. He is a #1 keeper and deserves to play every game game somewhere.

Ziyech and Cho will keep getting chances cause they fit better with Rom than Puli and Kai cause they look to send in crosses. I hope they use them wisely. Ziyech has been. Cho I need more.

100%. He’s sold in the off season. He’s regained his value.

It's a strange tactic. Lukaku does ******** all with crosses and overall, Pulisic and Kai are leagues above Ziyech and CHO. We won the CL rotating Mount, Havertz, Werner, and Pulisic.

Lukaku has limited our options in the end.

It’s not a strange tactic. Trying to use players that compliment players is normal. It’s just a bad one when it minimizes your strongest players. At least Ziyech seems to have found some form.

I'm saying in order to make Lukaku work, we've neutralized Werner, Kai, and Pulisic? Doesn't seem to be a net gain there.

Doesnt help that our wingbacks are both out.

But we beat spurs a lot in three weeks. Love it.

I know what you’re saying. You said it’s strange. I’m saying it’s not. They’re trying to play players that compliment Lukaku. That’s not strange. Going away from what worked last year with a ST that doesn’t press was a bad idea but trying to maximize him isn’t.

Def hurts as they were both great at crossing.

The options at the moment aren’t great. If we play Lukaku we have to play to his strengths. If we bench him I’d do a line change and keep Puli and Kai together with Timo or Mount.

    Always great beating Spurs

There was a rash of incidents in the NBA with fans acting like assholes.

Quite honestly part of is just being able to see more of this thing with the advent of social media. Also think the pandemic has fried a lot of people's brains.

No, the options are not great, but hats of to Mr.Tuchel he changed the formation. Gone with a back four. He has adapted. And he will adapt again. Playing with wing backs is not his signature formation or anything. He can play a team in many ways. Personally I really like the idea of 3 amigos playing behind Lukaku.

It is hard to spend 100 million quid on a player and not play him. Maybe we should never have bought him? Anyways. But rotating those three players behind the BIG man potentially puts more of our creative lads on the pitch at the same time. What with subs, etc. Those 3 positions are not fixed personnel. Start a game with Mounty, Pulisc and Werner and finish with CHO, Havertz and Ziyech. Tuchel has also played two up top, with Werner alongside Lukaku. I would like to see Pulisic alongside Lukaku. I think that would work well. Pulisic feeding Lukaku the ball from tight areas on the edge of the box. Tuchel will play to our teams many strengths.

I’d love to see a 3 man mid against a weaker side of

    Mount - Kante/Kova - Kai

    Feeding

    Puli - Lukaku - Ziyech

Steady on, old Chap. Tuchel has just switched to the 4-2-3-1, going all out like that . . . well, we're not ready.
