As a St. Louis soccer fan, I selfishly hope STL City would take a look at Marsch. Doubt he’s looking to come to MLS at this point though, but the idea of starting a project from the ground up is probably appealing in a lot of ways.
Reported to have turned down an offer from Krasnodar, currently 5th in the Russian Premier League. Link in Russian: https://www.sport-express.ru/footba...marsh-otkazalsya-vozglavit-krasnodar-1876667/
Surely there's jobs available in the 2 Bundesliga or Eredivisie or Belgian Pro League or Championship?
The way he questioned himself to the club higher-ups is not a good look. Clearly was not in a good place mentally. After all, he always seemed more like the "I believe in myself and will do whatever it takes to find solutions" type of guy than the stuff he was reportedly saying to the Leipzig board members. Just strange and you can tell he was probably struggling with a lot off-the-field too. Hopefully he can rebound well at his next step and get back on track.
Rumors of Everton interest: Reports from ESPN that Everton have contacted American manager Jesse Marsch to take over the club. Marsch was sacked from RB Leipzig earlier this season. pic.twitter.com/QW8kTMRl3J— Premier Rumours (@PremierRumors) January 22, 2022
I've seen Everton described in a bunch of places this week as a poisoned chalice. That seems true to me. But maybe Marsch can be a miracle worker and make a boatload of money in the process.

Free trial required? Now I’ve seen everything. Man deserves to be paid from Day 1 - let’s get on with it!
From BBC: This week, for the first time since he was appointed in June 2018, the noise around Bielsa's potential departure has reached levels where even potential successors, in this case American Jesse Marsch, have been touted. https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/60456754

Wow! I honestly thought he was a name on a list but they would end up going with someone else with EPL or England experience.
Announcement expected soon: Jesse Marsch’s set to be appointed as new Leeds United manager. This is interesting, but I think it's a big move for Marsch... honestly my first reaction is hoping this isn't another Bradley @ Swansea fiasco... Marsch has no EPL experience and after the Leipzig disappointment, a relegation with Leeds in the EPL would be an utter disaster for him and make it very difficult to get another top flight job. However, Leeds don't have the most difficult run in, if he can steady the ship he could bounce back and maybe become the first "MLS-produced" US manager to succeed in England. Good luck Jesse!
