I think RM is uniquely positioned to get the best out of Pogba.

Carlo is a great man manager, and having him surrounded by the French NT: Benz, Mbappe, Mendy, and French speaking Courtois that would give him more accountability. We’re a veteran team that would keep him in line. He needs that.

He needs a player like a Casemerio to play behind him, to let him get forward and move the ball. I think if he played with Kroos, and Case he could be able to do what he does best.

All this is theoretically possible, If he has any desire to take his career seriously and make an effort to work and play like he did at Juventus and win something at the club level before he retires.

It has to be on less wages though, considering his age and injury history.

It’s a long shot, as I think he’s gonna take the easy way out and chase the money at PSG and play in the farmer league with Messi and Neymar.

Pogba would literally be taking up camas minutes. Until the beginning of this season I had always wanted him, now that we have camavinga (and Valverde) no thank you.

Mino can send Pogba to the retirement home aka PSG once Mbappe leaves them. Reasonable wages ie Pogba taking a wage cut to join RM is opposite of Raiola's interests. He'd rather package Gravenberch to RM in that scenario. We are already gonna have high wage bill if we get Mbappe and Haaland.

I wish I could get a job where I give updates like "scouting team of world's biggest club following most prominent young players" or "club would prefer that both the best young strikers sign with them this summer."

Wonder how much is realistic if we get both Mbappe and Haaland. Think we won’t get anyone else, maybe just the Brazilian kid. Don’t think Fofana or Bellingham are realistic given asking price.

Why would Dortmund allow Bellingham to leave the same summer as Haaland? Most of those targets still have multiple contract years.

I think we spend 25-30 million on Gravenberch who will have one year left on his deal. Still a raw talent, but these expiring deals are too good to pass up. Low risk, high reward. I think he has an interesting profile to match with Camavinga and Fede as well.

Yeah not realistic at all. He’s going to have a tag so insane.

Name the last English player that was WC playing outside of England? Bale not included.

Because there are none. Which is why we will never have a chance at signing him.

Sancho was clearly amongst the best Bundesliga players, and Bellingham, who, if I could sign any Dortmund player right now, he would be the one, is a truly modern multi-faceted player that can both attack and defend.

I find it odd that you pull up for Pogba so much here but figure Bellingham isn't at the very least an incredibly promising player.

Rumors from Dortmund are that "Bellingham might be the highest sale in Bundesliga history by far".

I'm just disappointed that Dortmund have become a club looking at incoming transfer fees rather than trophies.

I wouldn’t rate Sancho a WC level player, but Bellingham is good, I’d take him definitely - I just don’t think we have a chance at getting him because he’s English. Top English players don’t play outside of the PL.

Excited to see what happens this done but it seems to me that Rodrygo is starting to make a case for himself. Frankly I'm more concerned about finding a RB and CB for next season because that's the imbalance right now.

Pogba has never been able to show consistent greatness in the last few years. I doubt Madrid could magically turn him around.

Regardless I'd prefer younger and hungrier players than him.

Pogba is more of an artist than a worker. He needs all players around him to work hard, otherwise it can become a mess and the balance is entirely thrown out of the window. He is too lazy for a midfielder.

I wouldn’t want Pogba in my team even if it was prime Pogba.
