Casillas - 4.5. He made two mistakes in Mallorca goal. 1st, he didn't placed well the barrier. 2nd, he musn't never recieve a goal by the side of the barrier in a so lateral foul.

Salgado -6.5. Very Good game. No problem from his side.

Samuel - 7. Good game, and he scored a very important goal. Probably his best game this season.

Heguera - 6.5. Very solid game. All the defense was very good today.

Roberto Carlos - 6. Good game. He was whistled at the begining of the game for what he said after Valladolid game about the subs and youth team players. He failed some passes at the begining, but overall he played a good game. He must learn to maintain his mouth closed, becuase in the last times everytime that he speaks he created problems.

Zidane - 8.5. Great game of Zidane. He was the brain of the team. He showed all his talent, making some great plays, and always find the perfect play for the team. He also showed a great commitment with the team helping in defense.

Beckham - 8. His best game of the season. A counted 14 perfect passes of more than 25 meters. The people applauded him several times. He fight hard, helping a lot in defense. He arrived several times to the goal line. Against Zaragoza played a good game, and today he has played a very good game. It is clear that the right is his best position. A lot of people spoke about at the end of the game.

Figo - 7.5. Very good first half. Not as good second half. He played as offensive midfield changing his position continously with Zidane. Tactically ist worked very good. A lot of times the team has a two against one, with Zidane and figo against only one defender, or only two defenders. It is impossible to stop two player with the quality of Zidane and Figo, if they are close.

Gravesen - 7. Very serious game. Very well positioned, works hard in defense, and always move the ball with sense, without complications, failing very few passes. He gives security in the midfield.

Raul - 6. All the running to find spaces and to create spaces for his teammates. Very good team work. He hasn't very clear goal chances. It is very clear that with Luxemburgo, he is going to concentrate to play as forward helping only very few times in midfield. That will be good for him.

Ronaldo - 6.5. He made 4 shots from outside the goal area. But like Raul, he hasn't very clear goal chances.

Guti - 6. He made a good work in the minutes that he played.

Owen - 6. He only played 15 minutes, but like always he created a goal chance, but this time he showed that he is human, and failed. He continues being our forward with best goal ratio.

Solari - 7.5. He only play 5 minutes but he gives a assist to Owen. And he scored a extraordinary goal. He deserved to be rated.

I like the team, the work of Luxemburgo. But i will speak obout it in the game thread if i have time.

Casillas - 5 - To blame for the goal, as MadridForever said, the placement of the wall was bad and a keeper shouldn't be beaten at his near post from an angle like that. Also dropped one later on but managed to recover.

Salgado - 7 - Attacked very well overlapping Beckham. Didn't have too much to do in defense to be honest.

Samuel - 7 - As usual gave away a few silly fouls but he won a lot of tackles, got stuck in and scored the vital goal. Does a broken nose mean an extra point? ;)

Helguerra - 6 - About the same as Samuel just without the goal!

    R. Carlos - 7 - I thought he had a very good game. He got forward well just never managed to find that last pass or shot. Defended well too.

Gravesen - 7 - He did what he had to do. Tackled well, passed the ball VERY well (96% pass rate at one point!) and supported the defence well.

Zidane - 9 - I thought he was fantastic. He deserved a goal but didn't seem to have his shooting boots on. Very effective today.

Figo - 7.5 - Had some good runs forward and was always a thread. It wasn't his best game but he still played well and caused problems.

Beckham - 8 - Looked much more comfortable on the right, linked with Salgado well, defended when he had to and played some amazing crosses and passes.

Ronaldo - 7 - Looked dangerous in the first half but faded a bit towards the end. Great skills and got some shots in though.

Raul - 6 - He seemed a bit absent today, he had a few half-chances but nothing clear cut. I guess it wasn't his day.

    ---

Guti - 7.5 - Looked sharp despite the illness, played some lovely sharp passes and made the right tackles. They went past him too easily at times but he will get stronger.

Owen - 7 - He got in some great positions but never got the right ball through. Their defence never seemed to pick him up. Shame he didn't score with his chance but he did well and gave the defence something else to worry about!

Solari - 7.5 - Great goal, looked very sharp and always a threat.

Casillas - 5 (made a mistake in first half, then didnt have much things to do)

    Salgado -7

    Samuel -7

    Heguera - 7

Roberto Carlos -7.5 ( good game, good long/short balls, good PK faul)

Zidane - 9 (Great moves, similar to ronaldo)

Beckham - 8 (good game, good accuarate crosses - needs improve FKs)

Figo -8.0 (ah man hes old, but who can dribble better than him....)

Gravesen - 7 (good solid game, made good challanges)

Raul- 6 (good game, however he should be the one who gets subed for owen)

Ronaldo - 9 (what a skills by ronaldo...he played amazingly well)

    Guti - 6.5

Owen -6.5 (good performance for 15minutes)

    Solari - 7.5 (amazing goal!)

However i cant belive why is Luxemburgo subbing Ronaldo for Owen instead of Raul for owen?? Can someone explain this to me!! Ronaldo needs to catch up to etoo with goals....he played well today and the goal was coming, but lux subbed him. I would understand if he had scored goals already in the game, or he had a bad day.....but not like today! COmon!!!

Good Performance by Real....hopfully they can keep it up when they play better teams!! Its less dribbling now and more passing....and thats what i like!!

    HALA MADRID!

Casillas - 4.5( poor goal keeping, or if not, hardly any goals on target by the opposition)
    Salgado - 6
Samuel -7.5 (bashed his nose, but yet still score. good game)
    Heguera - 6
    Roberto Carlos -7
Zidane - 8 ( One of the best player, really good dribbling skills)
Beckham - 7.5 ( ER, his best game? he looked more useful in this match, but wasnt effective in the R wing )
Figo - 8 ( although figo was meant for the centre tactical wise, he stil tore down the flanks with his pace.. really good control of ball and the way he beats defenders)
Gravesen - 8(made like 96% complete passes, made some great tackles too)
Raul- 6 ( not good enough to be even in the starting line up yet, but improving)
Ronaldo - 7 ( he was okay, but below his usual standard
Guti - 6.5 (could have been much better)
Owen - 6( hardly made any danger)
Solari - 7 ( other then the credit for the goal, he did nothing much)

just watched the bittorrent. thanks to ilferrari and oscar.

Casillas - 4.5 looked shaky, not himself.
    Salgado - 7
Samuel -7 gutsy. good alertness in the box for the goal.
    Heguera - 6
    Roberto Carlos - 6.5
    Zidane - 7.5
Beckham - 8 best i have seen beckham play in a long time.
    Figo - 7
Gravesen - 7 focused on protecting the defense and returning the ball to the attack. looking like a good choice by sacchi/buitre/lux.
    Raul- 6
Ronaldo - 7 active with some good chances but no goals. shameful reaction to the substitution.
    Guti - 7
    Owen - 6.5
Solari - 8 few minutes but looked great - provided a great chance for owen, scored a wonder goal. renew his contract please.

Casillas - 5 - Not his best game, but didn't play badly
    Salgado - 7
Samuel -7 - Still a little clumsy but good game
    Heguera - 6
Roberto Carlos - 7.5 - I think he played really well... he's being very harshly criticised imo.
    Zidane - 8.5 - Would'v been a 9 or 10 had he sprinted more.
Beckham - 7 - Okay. His passes seem more elaborate than effective imo
    Figo - 7
    Gravesen - 7
    Raul- 6
    Ronaldo - 7

    Guti - 7
    Owen - 6.5

Casillas - 6 the goal was a very well taken shot, and he got beat by it. some good distribution.
Salgado - 7 typical match for him
Samuel -7.5 finally getting comfortable in his skin. congrats on the goal.
Helguera - 6.5 quiet, but effective
Roberto Carlos - 6.5 apart from drawing the pk, not much stood out.
Zidane - 7.5 very spry for the old man.
Beckham - 8.5 he was absolutely surgical with his passing, and his workrate was great... his free kicks were the only weak area.
Figo - 8 was very active throughout... well taken pk.
Gravesen - 7.5 plays with less subtext than the big names do... and that is what this team needed. liked his demeanor on the bench after being subbed
Raul- 6.5 battled... and that's about it.
Ronaldo - 7 had plenty of opportunities, drew much defensive attention, but no excuse for the petulance

Guti - 6 didn't show much apart from getting stuck in a few times.
    Owen - 6.5 had a chance.
Solari - 8 just based on the goal that came out of nowhere.

So I finally had the time to watch this game.

Casillas - 6 - A bunch of ************ stops, error at near post. This is below-average Iker.

Salgado - 7 - Good game, played badass, errors understandable, great giving Figo and Beckham help.

Roberto Carlos - 7 - Not his best game, but his incisive runs upfield terrorize Mallorca defense even when he's not at full potential.

Samuel - 8 - Call me a silly ********tard, but this is one of his best games in a while. No card, only a few fouls, well, and a goal.

Zidane - 8 - This guy's touch is amazing even not at his best. His maneuvering set up 2 of the 3 goals.

Solari - 9 - I don't see why he's not starting or playing more. That shot was a dream, as was his distribution.

Gravesen - 8 - I looked at his passes, and he had the most completed passes, albeit short ones. Stupid fouls, but he kept the Real Madrid back stable and in a dominant position for most of the game. Needs more confidence for long balls.

Figo - 7 - Not as influential as last game, or he may just be playing like most of the other Galacticos. Still great, all that running and crossing terrorized Mallorca's defense.

Beckham - 7 - Best game in a while, no doubt. This guy can hit a wooden dummy 40 yards out, but his crosses are meh.

Raul - 6 - A mercurial player, Raul was once again somewhat hidden in the background this game. Aside from drawing fouls and getting close to scoring goals, he hasn't contributed much.

Ronaldo - 6 - Maybe he's done some, but his shots are too tame.

    Owen - 6 - DIdn't notice him taking more than 50 touches.
