Ilias isn’t first-team ready, still has a lot of work to do. Abde is definitely further than him.

What a save by Ter Stegen. Don’t know if he knew much of that though.

Christ. Labored win, but given our covid troubles and the resulting weakened squad I’ll take it. Especially since the scum dropped points today with an almost full squad. 1 point away from CL spots.

    FT: 0-1.

Ugly win, I will take it. LDJ isn't completely useless.

Ugly 2nd half . That save from MAtS … did we really have to let them have that . Hopefully with players coming back and Torres we see an improvement .

No offence, but Riqui Puig doesn’t seem to be at the level of a Barcelona player. I would like to be proven wrong, but I never understood the hype.

I’ve always wanted him to be a great player, but I’ve always thought that there must be a reason why he never broke into the first XI under several coaches. Now Nico, Pedri and Gavi have leapfrogged him too. If he can’t manage to play himself into the first team under Xavi then it will honestly never happen for him.

Sad situation but it is what it is and he might have to make a tough decision soon if he wants to have a proper career in football.

This result and round was great for Barca. We are now 5th place and just 1 pt from 4th Atletico and 2 pts from Betis. Rayo, Sociedad, Valencia, Betis all dropped points. Had Atletico dropped points as well we'd already be setting in 4th. Sevilla look securely in 2nd with a game in hand for the time being.

I missed this game but happy with the win. Eventually the luck has to swing in our favor. As celito said we're only 2 points out of 3rd so things are looking up. We just gotta wrap up a top 4 finish this season. Anything else we do is gravy!

Not really because then Rayo would have been ahead of us. :geek:

Anyway, I think our real race is with Sevilla, Betis and La Real. Not that we don't have a decent shot at finishing second, because we do, but first step is securing a top 4 finish. I have no doubt Atleti will warm up at some point and comfortably finish top 4. So that leaves 2 spots up for grabs, in essence.

It would be a super interesting title race if LPB can just lose another 4 or 5 games in-a-row. :D

I doubt he can even play for any Laliga side. Lad is like nearly 23 years old yet has a body of 16 years old. There are reasons why many coaches bench him.

Cmon. Bojan was massive at youth level for both Barca and Spain. He even broke records left and right. His issue was his mentality. Of course his talent could not come to display when he was getting older.

Puig is not even a player for Spain at youth level.
