He's doing really, really well. However talking among colleagues they really don't like him, due to the reputation he's getting for going down way too easily. I've seen some of the clips and to be fair he is definitely going a bit too far with this, it's not something I've ever seen any Japanese player do, really needs to cut that side of his game out.
I hope he hits the gym and build those muscles. I don't want to see Neymar 2.0 either, Brazil's NT reputation has been tarnished by his antics.
Did he ever do this in Japan? It could be he was advised to do this, as a response to constant brutal fouling in Scotland. Postecoglou isn't a naive man, nd even the normally polite captain McGregor knows the types of things that opposition players do to small guys in Scotland.
Yes of course. Furuhashi as Neymar 2.0 aka UCL/OG gold medal winner it will be a disgrace for JNT and the whole japanese football movement because, you know, he "dives". Maybe with some of these "dirty tricks" JNT would have reached WC Final8 and won 1 or 2 more Asian Cup.
Diving is still a disgrace whether you like it or not. Nothing enjoyable in seeing it in action. Oh and you do realize it doesn't always work, and if there were a strict referee, you might get punished for that. Brazil crashed out of WC 18 despite Neymar's constant diving (look up the memes of his acting against Mexico lol). Oh, and Messi despite being a diminutive figure and constantly getting bullied by defenders, he doesn't dive. I guess you're a fan of everything bad about modern football i.e. parking the bus, diving...etc
Absolutely not. But you said that him turning to be a Neymar will be bad while it will be simply fantastic, dive or not. AND, Messi is the worst example you could use, since he WAS a midget, la pulga, and he was inflated like a baloon with injections of hormones and other crap bordering on legal if not illegal just because he was too good to remain a skinny talented boy (ala Modric). If this is the way than give Furuhashi steroids and bulk him but I sincerely prefer him to dive sometime especially when constantly hard tackled and fouled.
Kyogo just scored a fantastic chipped shot to put us 1-2 ahead in cup final. Scored a rapid equalizer before, too. EDIT: he's a cup winner now.
Congrats. It's his first trophy with Cetlic. I hope they would win the league eventually so we could see him play in the CL next season. I still have goosebumps every time I watch Nakamura's goals against MU I just realized he's 26. I wish he went to Europe at a younger age, but so far everything has worked in his favor nonetheless.

He is getting immense praise in the Scottish media for this performance, he's definitely the headline act today, what a performance!! I noticed he was even in the English news today.. I Imagine there will be a few clubs sniffing around even more so after today. 15 goals in J-league and now 16 already in scotland, that's some return.
I hope he will shine in this Conference League. The first playoff will be tough against the norvegians in Bodo (AC Rome lost badly there). I hope he will arrived at least in semifinal. He need to be on the spotlight as more as he can to move to a bigger club in summer before WC2022 where he need to be JNT ace.
Winter break brought forward due to covid, fixtures will resume at the start of February, with a huge match against Rangers. Hopefully this will give him the time needed to heal properly. Kyogo, Maeda plus Hatate in February could be something special.
A lot of questions being asked of Ange Postecoglou, as a number of players have been going down with hamstring injuries. The team have already played a huge number of games this season with a very small squad, I heard that they may be bringing new medical staff in.
