Damn, we are not very lucky. We paid the price for finishing 2nd behind Russia. That said, the last time Belgium qualified for the U19 Euro was in 2011. The Belgians don't focus on results too much at youth level. They try to play the right way. They won't park the bus so we should beat them. The Finland game should be easy. The winner between us and Italy is probably going to make it. We have a 50-50 chance. If Castrop and Rhein are not missing this time, we stand a good chance. I believe the DFB will probably stop criticizing the age groups so much from now thanks to the emergence of Wirtz, Adeyemi, Musiala and Moukoko. They know this age group is missing its 3 best players so we are unlikely to hear them say negative things. Wolf is quoted as saying that this group is very talented even without the best players(Wirtz, Musiala and Moukoko).

The fact that we see such a big number of strikers emerging is also thanks to the reforms the DFB made years ago. They deserve a bit of credit now. We have a lot of flair players and strikers all coming through at once. That's not a coincidence. They were complaining about these problems even before the World Cup win in 2014. I am glad that they've done something but of course it takes at least 7-8 years to start seeing the results.

I understand the squad selection for U19 has been incomprehensible at times. What would the best XI look like at the moment? I only folllow Bayern youth, so I can't put things into perspective really, I don't know how Bayern's players hold up against players from the North and West divisions. I just find it a bit strange that Brückner has been snubbed so far, despite being an important pillar for his team in senior football. On the other hand Bayern players who were clearly at a worse point in their development get selected.

they are still incompetent, CF they were just complaining for years and doing nothing. Only post 2018 WC failure did dfb actually start making CF training program. Or we started seeing clubs have a youth CF coach.Believe it took until 2019 or 2020 and even now those stooges still talk about CF training program as an infancy project and still bitch about needing CFs. This does make it too late dev wise for a lot of players. Also means that 98-01 and maybe 02s did not benefit from this too. Although 02s had 5 CFs jump directly to 1st squads in 1BL-2BL so I guess got to train with pro CF coach or with 1st team coaches on improving.

its called dfb bias, squad selections in u17-u20 is full of it. They tend to call up same core over and over. U21 issue is that 1st year of cycle, we focus on even age group aka older one and dump a lot of odd age group players in U20 even if a lot of them are playing pro footy......its bizarre thing since U21 is for 2 age groups not 1.

Bruckner issue is that Kraft and Kostka selected ahead of him this time. And rated Semic is was absent to injury too. These 4 are main 03 RBs so far and 4/4 have trained with 1st too. DFB wise feels Semic is 1st choice followed by Kraft.

other RB options from 03s are, Atty, Campanile, Hoppe, Halangk etc. Halangk starting to play 3rd Liga. Campanile is said to be liked by Elgert at Schalke, Atty seems injured all season so far.

Also don't like that Bruckner constantly used at LB with Bayern II.....he can play both sides but more RB.....Germany needs more RBs....we got tons of LBs no need for more. And at Bayern Herold, Fust and Brekner can play LB.

Exactly, I mean people had been talking about needing a new CF training program for years before the DFB finally did something. And it took an abject failure at a major tournament to wake them up.

dfb for years were mosty complaining but more about world class CFs over actual CFs and an fixation on big physical aka classical CFs. Issue with classical is they are lacking in a lot of areas. How many class classical CFs out there anyways?

less we forget that at some point they were content with false 9 crap and didn't care about dev CFs too. Once false 9 exp flopped they started pushing for CFs again.

DFB is 100 percent a reactionary organization not proactive at all. Name 1 thing they did that was proactive. Even back in 2000s was reactionary to failures and aging players.

I think when DFB Academy is fully functioning and operational. We'll hopefully see more proactive things and staying ahead of the curve instead of sitting on arse and think this is a sport stuck in time.

    -Hertha Bobic talks youth,
In the youth there are really good guys. We’re watching that now, they all still have to develop and the leap to the pros doesn’t always work out. We have to train these young people so that they can make the leap, and that's where the focus is.

    -Mainz coach on youth
"Our aim is to bring the professionals and the NLZ closer together," said head coach Bo Svensson recently. "It is not difficult to formulate that, but we also have to underline it with action," said Svensson. The big jump between the U 23 or even the U 19 is made even more difficult by Corona.

    -Koln coach Baumgart talks youth.
"BOYS FOR THE FUTURE": BAUMGART REQUESTS PATIENCE FROM THE YOUNG PEOPL

Tim Lemperle is one of the many talented young professionals at 1. FC Köln. After his debut goal on matchday three in the Bundesliga, the 19-year-old recently had to gain more match practice in the regional league. Steffen Baumgart gave the reasons for this on Wednesday.

Tim Lemperle was in the professional squad six times this season. The attacker was substituted on four times by Steffen Baumgart. The highlight of the 19-year-old was of course the game against VfL Bochum on matchday three, when Lemperle celebrated his first Bundesliga goal in stoppage time. Shortly afterwards, however, the youngster injured his ankle during training - and has since been mainly used for the U21s.

At the press conference before the game against FC Augsburg on Friday, Steffen Baumgart couldn't let Lemperle seem left out: “He's not left out,” explained the coach and then became almost emotional: “I would for everyone like to say once: the boy is 19 years old. It's like with Jan Thielmann: These are young players who have to develop. " Will matter in the long run Just because many players are getting younger and younger when they make their professional debut, doesn't everyone make it to the top performers in the Bundesliga.

For Steffen Baumgart this is completely normal: "A 19-year-old doesn't have to be a regular player in the Bundesliga and he doesn't have to be in the squad every week." , so that the striker will again not be in the professional squad against Augsburg on Friday. The next competitive game awaits the native of Frankfurt on Monday. "I think a 90-minute game against Fortuna Köln and Schalke 04's second team brings him more than just playing five minutes with us or sitting on the bench for 90 minutes," explained Baumgart.

In the long term, as Baumgart indicated, the young players like Lemperle, but also Marvin Obuz and Jens Castrop, will grow more and more into the professional team. First of all, patience is required. “They are boys for the future and that is important.” The coach trusts Lemperle to make his breakthrough in the Bundesliga, even if not now: “We can all be happy with Tim, he will be in this team play a role in the long run. But at 19 he doesn't have to. "

    something I mentioned in past
-even age groups have bigger # of CFs than odd year age groups
-you average close to 5 MIN who make pro jump quickly

    In squads from 1BL-2BL
    00-Burkardt, Ngankam, Arp, Malone, Batmaz
    01-Schade, Dinkci, Konigsdorffer
    02-Adeyemi, Beier, Borkowski, Shuranov, Woltemade
    03-Matanovic
    04-Moukoko

Working on it aka making it but not perm or closing.
    00-Besong, Awuku, Herrmann, Kehr.
    01-Butler, Gudra
02-Asllani, Hartwig, Sausen, Winkler, Galjen, Krasniqi, Llugiqi
03-Gedikli, Schmid, Schmidt, Rolke, Vonic, Krupa
    04-Topp

    way I see it,
    1.00-01

    1BL
-Burkardt, Ngankam, and Schade=should continue in 1BL
-Kehr=could play 2nd half of season in 1BL but unless explodes likely to go down to 2BL come Summer along with Furth. Was a hit in 2BL, very big and super fast coud fit well with 1BL.

    2BL
-Batmaz=any 1BL is likely post U21. Don't see it for 2022. Needs to work his way unto XI more.
-Arp and Malone=both unless explode in 2nd half of season likely need another year in 2BL. So any 1BL return post U21 is likely.
-Konigsdorffer=raw diamond who is clicking more and more. If he continues like this could draw interest in Summer 2022.
-Dinkci=questionable whether Bremen can get promotion and he had fitness issues+covid. Unless explodes in 2nd half, might have to wait until 2023 for 1BL comeback.

    Working on it, minus Kehr,
    Abroad-2BL
-Awuku=always always injured but 2BL Kiel extended as they still care about him. At this point, I think for 1st Kiel will focus on 04 CF Labes....
-Besong=same always injured at 2BL FCN but currently fit again. Club extended last season. Needs to hurry up and play as if FCN get promotion to 1BL likely won't get chance. Players who are regulars prior to promotion are ones who go up. Ones who didn't end up on loan dump....usually. After all inuries they might think needs loan to higher.
-Butler at 2BL Ingolstadt, a club headed for relegation. My bet goes down back to 3rd Liga come Summer. Don't think he's ready for 2BL.
-Gudra, doing well in RL. Currently being blocked by Beier. Does he go on 3rd Liga loan or stay as 1st back up? Does he take Beier spot in 2022 Summer or go on loan???
-Herrmann, has been MIA since August, would guess injured

    3rd Liga Guys
-S.Muller=on loan from 1BL. Only one from here who could jump to 1BL in 2022. Has 2 1BL caps too. AB coach said that S.Muller had best shooting technique from AB players too. His current loan going well but did have injury issues although fit again. EB coach praised him and wants to play him more too. Interesting to note that EB are 2BL promotion candidates, so going on 2BL loan with same club also option too.
-Ihorst=on loan from 2BL Bremen, does well when fit but was out for awhile but now fit again. Needs to go back to his XI spot. But like S.Muller, EB promotion candidates. But 2BL really shoud be next
-Akono and Bornemann=if they continue showing productivity, than 2BL could be next.
-L.Kruger=finally playing more and more XI for a Meppen who are promotion candidates to 2BL.
-Hottmann,Breunig, Broschinski, Lakenmacher=seem headed for more 3rd Liga at this rate.
-Jastremski=spending half your loan injured never ideal. Needs to show something 2nd half.

    RL
-Ulrich=on loan from 2BL, looks to be playing a lot and doing well. Whether 2BL is next or 3rd Liga time will tell.
-Klostermann, Heike, Manske, Konig, Niemiec=doing well in RL whether more RL or 2BL-3rd Liga jump.......who can tell.
-Glatzel=on loan from Liverpool, one would expect another loan come Summer

    2.02-03
    1BL
-Adeyemi=by all accounts headed to Dortmund

    2BL
-Shuranov and Borkowski=both at FCN a promotion candidate. Would be good for both if that happened too. Shuranov attracting a lot of interest from bigger clubs. Both can be difference makers. Borkowski did better 2nd half of last season so let's hope picks it up in 2nd half.
    -Woltemade=see Dinkci
-Beier=on loan from 1BL Hoff and attracting interest from Bayer. Likey to go back to 1BL with Hoff in Summer
-Matanovic, when fit an XI for 1BL promotion candidates Pauli. Does it very wel, poached by Frankfurt for 2023 but at this point 1BL looks to be next season

    Working on it,
-Asllani=3 back to back squads with 1BL Hoff with him making pro/1BL debut. DId preseason well but than got injured so now back with 1st. Hard to predict if they plan to integrate or not. Ideally they integrate him before Beier returns.
-Gedikli=its 1BL Bayer move to make. But he's aiming for perm squad spot
-Hartwig=has been injured from Summer to Nov. Ony recently back for 1BL Bochum. Sucks but this could force him on Winter loan.
-Sausen, did entire preseason with FCN and got praise by coach. Producing in RL too. So curious to what next.
-Winkler,has trained with 1BL Hertha and producing in II.
-Galjen, added his 3rd pro cap in 2BL only to go out injured for rest of 2021. Likely will take time to add his 4th.
-Krasniqi, see him more as AM and have doubts he'll get more chances
-Schmid, Schmidt, Rolke, Vonic=All have trained played friendies with 1BL Koln, 1BL Mainz, 1BL Hertha and 2BL FCN. Vonic signed basicaly pro contract with FCN.The other 3 got praise by coaches. Mainz II is 3rd Liga promoton candidates so Schmidt could play there/ Would be nice if he can take a Burkardt dev path.
-Krupa and Llugiqi=both more likely for real game time with an Ingolstadt relegation to 3rd Liga. But at some point if relegaton becomes more factual coud start adding more 2BL caps.

For here rest its mostly 02s as 03s still in U19 and lost a year of dev. 02 CFs is full of injury history too.

    3rd Liga
-Bertelsmann, Bierschenk, Gumaneh=working their way so far only Bierschenk is fixed in squad, playing but looking for 1st XI.
-Hettwer=a 03, promising player who needs to work his way into regular XI. Brokethrough last season too and was important in relegation fight.
-Moulai=a 03 made his debut over weekend

    RL
-Pakia=potential there but sadly always injured
-Gollnack=played 1st XI for Hoff II with goal and assist prior only sub or bench and injured.
-Harres= on 2 year loan from 2BL. In that type of scenerio next season more important. His club is 3rd Liga promotion candidates too.
-Tekin=Dwarf CF with good shooting technique but no one will play him there
-Seitz=another shrimp showing productivity but also playing W and other positions. Likely needs to make it elsewhere position wise.
-Bindemann=a 03 who jumped to RL early. Already at 10 career RL goals and almost scored in Cup vs Wolfsburg too, just unlucky. A lot of clubs want to poach him.
-Hummel, Otuali, M.Muller, Scherhant, Flotho=all showing productivity and double for sesason or close to it is likely. So 2BL or 3rd Liga could happen. Hummel is one with a lot of past injury issues. Otuali getting praise by HSV fans too.
-Kramny=has been injured for ages and clubless. Shame since did well in u17
-Gorny=hasn't played in ages due to covid and injuries. Recall him impressing in DFB U18 Israel tourney.back in 2019 too.
-Halbich, always injured but fit again now
-Harnafi, Spreitzer, Roscher, Kuhinja,Schilowez, Ismail, Paulsen etc also in RL

we are seeing a lot of 03s play bit of RL too but mosty in u19 though.

    OL
Kronemeyer=on loan from 2BL due to not playing for ages to injury and no u19. Makes you think will probably go on another loan in 2022.

its incomplete picture for 03-04 of course.

on 02 CF Llugiqi who made 2BL/pro debut over weekend.
The former NLZ player Arian Llugiqi from Burghausen made his debut for FC Ingolstadt 04 in the second Bundesliga last Saturday.

During the away game in the Ostseestadion against F.C. Hansa Rostock, the 19-year-old offensive talent was substituted on in the 88th minute of the game and was allowed to sniff his first eight minutes of Bundesliga air. Burghausen - “We would like to congratulate Arian on his first professional appearance and we would be very happy for him if he could get more time in the second division in the coming games. For us, his substitution is once again a confirmation that a very good job is being done in our youth training center, ”said WBFG managing director Andreas Huber.

Most recently, shortly before his first competitive appearance in the second Bundesliga, the 19-year-old's contract with FC Ingolstadt was extended prematurely for two more years until 2024. "

Gratitude cannot be expressed in words" Llugiqi himself is also happy and grateful: “My gratitude to SV Wacker Burghausen cannot be put into words. It is an indescribably wonderful feeling to be standing here now. I also know and appreciate that SVW has made me the person and player I am today. Here I learned, among other things, what it means to mature and develop further. I would like to take this opportunity to thank those responsible with all my heart. The club will always have a high priority in my life and I'm really looking forward to watching one or the other game, if the time allows.

frick your results, LMAO. Talent is there regardless of results.

Bobic: “If you look at the youth results in our U19 and 17, you could clearly think that a golden generation is coming again. I can only say: there is still a long way to go. "

    Hertha U19

its frustrating how everytime I see CL squad for irrelevant matches and EL squads from EPL a decent amount of youth in there.

1BL no one wants to play youth even pointless matches.

you get load of crap from a Nagelsmann that he'll play with best XI otherwise won't be fair. Its NOT unprofessional to have 1-2 youth in XI or more on bench. If these players are 1st prospects its within your right to play them. A youth XI or most of XI that would be unfair.

same BS was said from 1BL clubs about last match of 1BL. We can't play youth wouldn't be fair to other clubs.......STFU, LOL.

When Flick was still a sporting director of the DFB 6 years ago, he and a lot of other coaches and experts made changes to the training of youth players. They put more emphasis on individuality. I don't think they were as late as 2018 and 2019. Maybe they didn't have CF specific training back then but the focus on 1v1s and the passes in training having to be played under pressure plus receiving and controlling the ball having to be done under pressure also helps the strikers. The 2002-born players were 14 years old back then. The 2005 age group which is supposed to be a golden generation was 11 years old. For the 16-17 years olds, it was maybe kind of late to significantly improve them but the younger ones maybe benefitted more.

In January 2016, he talks about the need to push for more specialist coaches in football. Technical coaches, tactical coaches, attacking coaches and defensive coaches.

doesn't mean it was done before that. Been following this shit for years. Not sure why your bringing stuff related to AM/W and defensive. I mean you see individuality for AM/W starting from 01-onwards.

for CF, these things only recent for training and not even fine tuned either. Kuntz last cycle was in charge of CF training program too. Youth clubs with CF coach only recent too.

less we forget that covid killed a full year off 02-onwards.For 02s that was last season in u19 too.

point dfb has been way behind in acting on CF. Now using latest tech to improve CF training too and where to focus.

I am saying it was done in 2016, not before 2016.

How does focusing on individuality and 1v1 situations help only the AM/W and defenders but not the strikers? The strikers always have 1v1 duels whether it's in the air or on the ground. Di Salvo said that strikers need to be good at dribbling.
In 2016, Flick said that Hoffenheim and Koeln already had attacking coaches.

DFB made CF move post WC18.

they blamed lack of CF and need to fix.....LOL WC18 had Gomez/Werner.

from 2018-onwards NON STOP CF updates from DFB and bitching 24/7.

just recently DFB still talked about need to work on program and that dfb and clubs need to work together.

reality dumbass Low was real issue but no one will say it/

so not sure wtf 2016 has anything to do with it. Them bitching for years and years doesn't mean they acted in 2016.

Clubs don't follow DFB all time you know. Some clubs said they always focused on 1v1 so dfb updates useless for them.

di Salvo is taking about now that's too late for majoirty of CFs from 98-03 who have no dribbling. Also talking IDEAL CFs.

anyways I'm moving on, you always want to debate boring and trivial things. DFB is shit and made TONS of blunders and is 100 percent reactionnary.

PS one of 3 stooges said that CF program is good because. 1 coach can't focus on 20 players individually and that clubs need a CF and Def speciaiistic to focus with players individually......doesn't sound like something fully there at all.

Bayer Leverkusen is a ********ing joke.
    -already won EL 1st place
-use 5/5 subs on established players

why? to try to win pointless match, ******** these German clubs.

it annoys me that Gedikli too attached to club that doesn't care much about dev.

needs to get poached in Summer free transfer, this club won't make spot for him.

    -01 LB Ezekwen.
"Kimberly still needs time and games in the second team," said coach Christian Streich about the 20-year-old defender who was incapacitated for two months by a muscle injury. The injury itself is over.

    -on 01 W Alidou,
Eintracht at Alidou in pole position

Faride Alidou's departure from Hamburger SV is becoming more and more likely. Eintracht Frankfurt is currently said to have the best cards for a commitment. Although the HSV officials were optimistic a few weeks ago that Faride Alidou would extend his contract, which expires at the end of the season, the signs are now clearly pointing to a separation.

Just this week, the Bild reported that Alidou had rejected an exit clause in the contract negotiations with HSV - the 20-year-old would therefore like to join the Bundesliga as soon as possible. According to the picture, the Frankfurt Eintracht currently have the best chances for a transfer of the shooting star. The report says that the Hessen Alidou offer a monthly salary of 75,000 euros. That makes 900,000 euros per year - and point bonuses and hand money would come on top. Sums with which HSV has no chance.

The tabloid speculates that the greatest chance of seeing Alidou in the HSV jersey in the coming year is just a loan. In other words: The Frankfurters commit the 20-year-old, but park him for another year at his youth club. However, direct contact between the eagles and the red trousers is said to have not yet taken place. The competition, which Alidou is also observing, is immense: Bayer Leverkusen, 1. FC Köln, TSG Hoffenheim, Union Berlin, SC Freiburg, FSV Mainz, Hertha BSC and FC Bruges are also said to be interested in the tempo dribbler.

    HSV's chances are dwindling ...

I find recent trend disturbing, it becoming clear most 1BL clubs have no real interest to integrate their own players.

but all fighting over German youth who impress in 2BL.

its like they want others to do all work. More interest to integrate foreign and poach Germans.

on topic of Koln and Hoff attacking programs that's not as much for CF as it WAS for AM/W.

    -Koln-
I recall Koln highlighting Obuz, Lemperle, Thielmann and Diehl when doing so.

Now Lemperle might be made into a CF and that's more recent change ala Tillman.

but none of Koln CFa are Koln produced.
Lemperle was poached from FSV Frankfurt who poached him from Mainz.
and Downs was poached by them from Ingolstadt too. Also 03 CF Schmid was poached from Mainz too who poached him from FSV Frankfurt.

in u17 Cortijo-Lange a 05 was poached from Frankfurt who poached from Wehen. Looks rated but out long term.

All I'm seeing is Koln is just poaching from Frankfurt/Mainz area for CFs.

    -Hoff
Hoff.....Beier is poached from Cottbus, same for Schade at Freiburg.

Imagine 2 German CFs who play 1BL both coming from minnow club like Cottbus. And then another 2 in 1BL from FSV Frankfurt........

Asllani is poached from Union Berlin
    Gollnack is poached from Dynamo

D.Otto on loan to 2BL is only Hoff produced CF.

-add them together neither Koln nor Hoff have produced any CFs that's 100 percent made at Koln and Hoff outside of Otto.

Truth of matter vast majority of German CFs from 01-onwards DO NOT Orignate from big clubs. A Copado was Unterhaching, a Moukoko from Pauli etc.

big clubs's CF production looks poor, its just them poaching from small clubs.

that's ********ing embarrassing that all our CFs getting made in minnows, lol. What does it really say about youth work of bigger clubs?

those smaller clubs do get rewarded when youth produced play pro. You see it all time that in news that minnow club X got Y amount from dfb for youth work done by them.

that's damn shame about Gedikli has been at Bayer since 2010 so 7 years old. So he's fully Bayer produced CF who is getting shaft by his own club.

and that's main reason he's fixated on making it at the club.

at this point, if Bayer keeps him, loan dump is likely next up. Half a season and 0 caps and no II. Will a club fighting CL spots in 1BL and EL knockout integrate....unlikely not counting mass injuries. Than come Summer goes on loan just for Bayer to be like we playing CL we need reinforcement so they sign players long term and never any spots open.

only option is this loan until 2023 and in 2023 he takes Alario spot in squad who has 2024 contract.

would love integration but massive doubts it'll happen. I think perm exit could be better than loan, always better to be owned than not. Tons of loans bomb due to club having loanee on very short leech. I'm sure their be a lot of interest..............just don't go to Turkish 1st........

recently I mentioned 05-Michelbrink as a player more wait and see. But he only XI half matches, real 05 M hype is Aseko. Excellent youth work.....only in CBs.....so far.

Bobic and the fight for Hertha's next top generation

Hertha BSC is known for its excellent youth work. Currently, there are once again numerous rough diamonds in the Berlin box. Sports director Fredi Bobic has to deal conscientiously with this wealth of football talent.

While the professionals in the Bundesliga are once again below expectations, the Hertha BSC youth teams are currently showing outstanding performances. The U17 dominated the B-Juniors Bundesliga North / Northeast with eight points ahead of second-placed FC St. Pauli at will. The Berlin U19s in the A-Juniors Bundesliga are even ten points ahead of their pursuers Werder Bremen. Hard to miss: The Hertha youth is one of the best in German youth football these days.

Managing Director Sport Fredi Bobic is unsurprisingly happy about this balance of power: “If you look at the results, you might think: There is another golden generation coming. And yes, there are really good guys that we keep an eye on, of course. "

Hertha's long list of talents Central defender Linus Gechter, who at the age of 17 is already able to get a taste of the pros and has even made four appearances in the A-team, is particularly popular. The captain of the German U18 national team has even made a name for himself in England, and was listed a few months ago by the English Guardian among the 60 most promising talents from the 2004 or younger age group worldwide.

But it is not only Gechter who is prophesied a rosy future among the Hertha-Bubis. Attacker Anton Kade (17), the younger brother of Dynamo Dresden's Julius Kade (22), should also be mentioned. Just like the brothers Jonas (20) and Lukas Michelbrink (16) as well as Tony (18) and Oliver Rölke (16). In the midfield there are Mesut Kesik (18) and Bence Dárdai (15) - the youngest of the all highly talented sons of ex-professional head coach Pál Dárdai - who can go far.

A few names could be added to the list. Bobic knows that this round of talents entails a great responsibility for him as head of sport. He has to protect the young boys and see that Hertha can enjoy them for as long as possible. "We will hold talks," announced the former Bundesliga striker, knowing about the market laws.

    Netz as a warning example
Although he has not been working as Hertha sports director very long, Bobic is already a burned child in this regard. Shortly after he took over the sports business, he lost his greatest talent, left-back Luca Netz (18), to Bundesliga rivals Borussia Mönchengladbach. The equally painful departure of top young striker Lazar Samardzic (19, now Udinese Calcio) fell in the time of Bobic's predecessor Michael Preetz. These cases should not and must not become the rule. Unlike what happened with Netz, Samardzic or once the Boateng brothers, Hertha doesn't want to lose its jewels before the professional career really starts. A few years at Bundesliga level with the old lady should be there in individual cases. Bobic has to take care of that, that's his job.

    on Alidou closing on Frankfurt
Bayer Leverkusen, 1. FC Köln, TSG Hoffenheim, Union Berlin, SC Freiburg, FSV Mainz, Hertha BSC and FC Bruges

-why the ******** are Koln, Hoff, Freiburg, Mainz and Hertha interested focus on your own kids you all have Ws too.

-I hate Frankfurt but clubs like Bayer, Union and Frankfurt will integrate close to 0 German youth from Academy. Transfers only way to increase number of Germans. In that sense, Frankfurt picking up Alidou, Matanovic etc not bad thing.
