I agree these argies in boca especially villa are closing the doors of colombians in the future.

Somehow Boca fielded Villa and Cardona tonight in the Copa Argentina final against Talleres.

    Boca win in pens.

Despite having taken Talleres to great heights this season, in the two recent match ups against the big clubs Medina choked when his team went a man up. Talleres had about a half hour with a man advantage and played like they were killing time for penalties. Totally bizarre.

Hopefully he got his nerves out against Paraguay and has better aim and composure against Peru and Argentina (coincidentally) the next two games.

I know Talleres has ties to Grupo Pachuca and that it'd be easy to follow him if he goes to Mexico... But at 25 and coming off the season he is, Valoyes should go to Europe now. Would love to see him in Bundesliga.

Great time for him to jump to a big league in Europe, we need these guys taking the next step at these ages after strong seasons rather than settling for Mexico or even Brazil.

Yes, my worry is that the only TEAMs he has been linked with are precisely the Grupo Pachuca franchises and teams in Brasil. This is a big chance for him, but I also realize at 25 it's also when he needs to make money career wise, I hope a good offer comes from Germany or Italy so that he can further his economic and football interests but there has been no specific speculation on teams of interest from Europe...

Would make sense that they consulted for him... Internacional just hired Cacique Medina as their new coach the other day

I doubt Talleres will hold him off for a European offer if the numbers are right

That's the thing. He's 25 - if he's going to Europe it's now. Hope they get the right deal and Fassi hasnt been talking nonsense since the summer about European interest...

I am not sure he is good enough for the European game. He does not know how to cross the ball in the air good enough from what I have seen and he is not clinical enough as a goal scorer.

Maybe he can go to a mid level league like Belgium or something and refine his game but we shall see.

We probably won't get to see that scenario because the Mexican and Brasilian teams will outbid those kinds of teams. I think Bundesliga would be great for him.

You make it sound like every prospect that makes it out of south america has to be so proven and 'good enough' to succeed. Plenty of rock stars leave the Americas as certified gold and still fail and vice versa. I mean, if you're talking elite sides like Liverpool or any top 3-4 sides that play regular champions league level, maybe that's a different bar altogether, but plenty of sides can use his speed and decisiveness to make a better version of him. There's plenty of bad soccer even in Europe's top leagues and plenty of higher leagues with less than standout players.

I make it sound like that? I just specifically talked about him and his style and his skill set from what I have seen.
Factor in his age and I am not sure he can go to Europe and succeed but that is just my opinion. I think his style is more suited for Brazil or Mexico.

Well. This is bad news. Would hate for this to play out all of Jan and he's out of form come time for the next call ups this and next month.

If he goes to Brasil you hope it's to one of the bigger Libertadores favorites. Crossing fingers something comes in from Germany but from what Pipe says here it sounds like Fassi has been talking nonsense.

Flabian Londoño Bedoya called up to train with the first team squad during pre-season training

    https://lapaginamillonaria.com/rive...des-por-pedido-de-Gallardo-20220104-0007.html

Excellent opportunity for him... Julian Alvarez could leave any moment if a European side steps up and activates his release clause (he's being linked to just about every team these days), Girotti is said to be on the list of players Gallardo isn't really considering for the upcoming season (they are currently seeking a loan deal), Suarez is still recovering from a long injury, and Braian Romero is old and at times irregular. Fontana I won't even count, because he's useless and hopefully on his way out to Newell's.

Really if he does things well during this month he could really make himself a spot in the team through the year. Golden opportunity for the kid.. Hopefully things go well
